Why Vote Trump?

I’m tired of being asked, "How can you support Trump after all the things he has said? How can you as a Christian support such a man?" It’s ironic how many “vile names” Trump has been called for calling others similar “vile names!” I’m reminded of the quotation of Oscar Wilde—“Every saint has a past. Every sinner has a future.” The same could be said of presidents and of the people who elect them. There aren’t any perfect candidates or voters. I don’t have to defend all his actions to vote for him. But why am I voting for Donald Trump?

One of my top three reasons is the Supreme Court. With the loss of Anthony Scalia, the fragile conservative majority coalition is in jeopardy. If Hillary is elected, the court could be lost to leftist judges for decades and the role of our Constitution as a guiding principle would be lost, possibly forever. Donald has listed the kind of judges he will appoint.

Second, he’ll cut income taxes for all Americans, including cutting corporate taxes, the most powerful tool to bring more capital, businesses and jobs back to America. Does America want more jobs and a strong economy or does it want bigger government taxing and regulating the successful to let Washington pick the winners and losers. Small business entrepreneurs have always been the prime driver of America’s economic machine. Donald will cut unnecessary regulations, lower taxes, and once again unleash the America’s entrepreneurial dream. When the reward is greater, more will take the risk of starting businesses, and more will succeed.

Third, you not only elect a President; you’re electing an administration and the team one brings with them. What team and policies do you want to guide our country for the next four years? His selection of Gov. Mike Pence gives you a sense of the people he’d appoint. I’m voting for a more conservative Team Trump that creates an administration more likely to turn around Obama’s entitlement machine that Hillary just wants to expand.

There are more reasons. He’d call an illegal immigrant “illegal” and not grant citizenship as an automatic right. He’d take on sanctuary cities defying national laws. He’d make the border stronger and not take refuges from rogue states without extreme vetting. It’s time we put the focus on accepting immigrants who have followed the rules and waited patiently to be welcomed into America.

He'd be a tougher negotiator. No more one-sided agreements with Iran and our trading partners.

He’s already put an end to political correctness. He won’t be thrown by leftist name calling; he’d give it right back at them. He’s not afraid to call terrorists Islamic if they use radical Islamic beliefs to justify their actions.

He’s an outsider not infected by the “Potomac Fever” that seems to weaken the conservative convictions of most politicians we send to Washington. He’ll take on orthodoxy and politics as usual, whether practiced by Democrats or Republicans. He might even close a few unnecessary departments to help deal with our national debt.

He’ll stop making dependence on government pay better than working for a living. He’ll build an economy that will help create the jobs people need to break the chain of poverty that keeps people dependent on government.

He’ll uphold the Second Amendment and gun rights, reject any “public option” for health insurance while repealing Obamacare, and support the police who are protecting the neighborhoods for all our law-abiding citizens.

He’ll rebuild our military and turn the Benghazi inaction into decisive support for building a coalition to put an end to ISIS and terrorist safe havens. He won’t be drawing red lines that mean nothing to our enemies.

Finally, remember watching the Republican convention and saying to yourself, "His children are amazing!" If the fruit doesn't fall far from the tree, his fruit says a lot about the tree and the principles he has used to raise his children. He believes in them, gives them responsibility, and supports making their achievement. If he can do that as a dad, he just may do that as president.

You say, "Yes, but what about....?" Do I support all of Trump's comments or stands? Of course not, I've never completely agreed with any candidate. But he and the Republican team have my vote in November.

Trump’s election would signal a total reset of government....a complete outsider who has no idea how “things usually work around here”.....

It’s America’s last chance for a mulligan....

There aren’t any perfect candidates or voters.

People insist that "the lesser of two evils is still EEEEEEEEVIL," but what I quoted here is just one of my reasons for not believing them.

How Can Any American?

How can any American support anyone, running for President, who does not respect the stated purpose of the Constitution, she has repeatedly sworn to preserve? The Preamble to the Constitution states that purpose:

We the people of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.

Our "posterity," of course, are our lineal descendants. A purpose that is 100% consistent with Donald Trump's call to put America First. It is 100% consistent with the Fifth Commandment, and traditional Western values, in general. Mrs. Clinton's call for open borders, and the failure to properly vet immigrants from lands with very different value systems, is 100% inconsistent with the Constitutional purpose.

How can any American refuse to vote for Donald Trump, who not only understands & accepts what the Constitution requires. He strenuously exposes Mrs. Clinton on issue after issue!

Trump is willing to risk a lifetime of success--his whole career & fortune--to take on a corrupt media, that tries in every unfair, intellectually dishonest, way to cover up Mrs. Clinton's crimes and repeated acts of betrayal, in order to stand for us, our Constitution and our clear interests, on a host of vital issues. Consider:

1. Trump supports and has been endorsed by the border guards. Mrs. Clinton has shown only disdain for those trying to keep America safe from a flood of unauthorized invaders.

2. Trump supports the rights of Americans to efficiently arm themselves, both for their own protection and for the protection of America! Mrs. Clinton has repeatedly sought means to disarm American families.

3. Trump has supported local Police in violent confrontations with neighborhood thugs; while Mrs. Clinton & Obama have allied themselves with virulently anti Police groups--some funded by George Soros--groups determined to deny their law abiding neighbors, the Police protection, necessary to make those neighborhoods safe.

4. Trump understands that making any neighborhood safe, is the key to increasing constructive activity in such neighborhood;--the key to people being able to start local businesses, with some hope of success; the key to better job opportunities, better credit ratings, etc. Mrs. Clinton has shown herself more intent on encouraging and supporting those Soros funded groups.

5. Donald Trump supports all forms of American energy production! He wants to let the coal miners get back to work; to take advantage of improved technology that allows a cleaner use of coal. Mrs. Clinton has insulted the coal miners, by refusing to help them get back to work, while she patronizes them; offering them a new dependence on even more Governmental meddling.

6. Returning to the Constitution--the solemn compact (or contract) that authorizes us to even have a Federal Government;--the charter, that once--when truly honored--made us the envy of the earth:

Donald Trump has pledged to appoint only those who honor the clear intent of that charter, to the Federal Judiciary. Mrs. Clinton has promised to only appoint Judges who agree with her ghoulish view of Feminist issues: such as the idea that it is O.K. for a woman--on mere whim--to have a healthy, already half born baby, killed in cold blood, in something euphemistically labeled a "partial birth abortion!"

7. Donald Trump, daily addresses great rallies, to discuss these and other vital issues; such as the damage to American workers & communities, resulting from trade deals, and immigration policies, that do not protect our rooted population. Mrs. Clinton has avoided in depth discussion of issues; preferring, instead, an incessant attack on Donald Trump's personality; his tone; his supporters;--in each case misrepresenting the same by a combination of lies, cherry picked but misleading data, gross exaggerations, and citations of spurious media smears, engineered by a slavish press, which covers up actual crimes, in a blind, but determined, support for the perpetrator.

Under such circumstances: How can any American vote for Mrs. Clinton? How can any American refuse to vote for Donald Trump?

Note further: There are thousands of organizations, some Faith based (both evangelical & social); some secular, but ideological; some based on Humanist arrogance (Return To Babel). Among them there is something to represent just about any imagined human interest. Our written Constitution is the sole organizational effort focused solely on the interests of the rooted American. How dare any American betray or trivialize our organization; the Constitutional Republic, as it was intended by the Fathers, who won it for their posterity?! How can any American refuse to vote for Donald Trump?

May the living God Bless all those who understand what is truly at stake!

I like to turn it around, along the lines of, then it’s ok that we end up with Hillary instead??? It’s ok to end up with Hillary because of some objections to Trump??

We have a binary choice. I think one can be critical of Trump but still vote for him, to prevent the Clintons from getting back in the White House.

Others who feel so strongly against Trump, are in effect saying, that they prefer to end up with Hillary.

Both Terry Paulson and FR's Ohioan raise provocative questions which should prompt each and every lover of liberty to search deep within himself/herself for an answer for "the children" whose future liberty is at stake.

Which of these two flawed human beings may cause more potential harm for future generations?

Which might be more likely, given the advice of their counselors and advisors, to protect the underlying concept of our Constitution--that ours was to be a "People's" Constitution to limit their government's power over them?

Our Constitution embodied a UNIQUE IDEA. Nothing like it had ever been done before. The power of the idea was in the recognition that people's rights are granted directly by the Creator - not by the state - and that the people, then, and only then, grant rights to government. The concept is so simple, yet so very fundamental and far-reaching.

Government

America's founders embraced a previously unheard-of political philosophy which held that people are "...endowed BY THEIR CREATOR with certain unalienable rights...." This was the statement of guiding principle for the new nation, and, as such, had to be translated into a concrete charter for government. The Constitution of The United States of America became that charter.

Other forms of government, past and present, rely on the state as the grantor of human rights. America's founders, however, believed that a government made up of imperfect people exercising power over other people should possess limited powers. Through their Constitution, they wished to "secure the blessings of liberty" for themselves and for posterity by limiting the powers of government. Through it, they delegated to government only those rights they wanted it to have, holding to themselves all powers not delegated by the Constitution. They even provided the means for controlling those powers they had granted to government.

This was the unique American idea. Many problems we face today result from a departure from this basic concept. Gradually, other "ideas" have influenced legislation which has reversed the roles and given government greater and greater power over individuals. Early generations of Americans pledged their lives to the cause of in­dividual freedom and limited government and warned, over and over again, that eternal vigilance would be required to preserve that freedom for posterity.

Funny, when I heard Hillary compliment Donald Trumps kids, my immediate thought was that was the BEST endorsement any candidate could ever give of their competition... and then he called her a fighter, LOL, I believe he dropped a couple of key words he wanted to use, in effort to make it a backhanded compliment...

Why? Because an activist minded Supreme Court leaning heavily left would last for decades and do untold damage to the country. Because the Clinton machine is corrupt to the core ... probably even more than the Obama machine. Because we already have the most pro-abortion administration in the history of the US ... a Clinton administration would take it even further.

That’s reason enough.

If we want to focus on what we know for sure, what he said about “pussy”, well, gee, because I don’t want anyone seeing the log in my own eye. That being a Christian doesn’t mean putting our brains in the freezer at election time.

I don’t know if Trump is a Christian, but what I do know is that Clinton will force more religious organizations to provide controversial contraceptive choices for their members. I know she will enable Planned Parenthood to hide any future attempts to harvest baby organs.

I think the stupidest thing I’ve heard recently was from the Catholic bishop who said that Catholics should never vote for a candidate for the purpose of keeping another person out of office. Michael Matt took that idiocy apart.
