“I’m starting to think about this morality stuff,” Conservative Review Editor-in-Chief Mark Levin said as he began his radio show Monday night. “Everything we do should involve morality … but let me ask you a question: If you were alive during George Washington’s times, would you have voted for George Washington?”
Levin then went on to list the moral failings of past politicians from the slave-owning founders, to the adulterous John F. Kennedy, to Bill Clinton himself, and so on.
“I’m not defending Donald Trump,” Levin exclaimed. “I’m trying to understand hypocrisy.” Referring to the Republican lawmakers that have since dropped their support for Donald Trump following the release of a 2005 video where Trump makes lewd remarks about women.
Levin never gave approval to what Trump said in the 2005 audio tape, in fact, he called it “disgusting” and “pathetic.” But he made clear he did not intend to join the “RINOs” who are using it as an excuse for pulling their support.
At the close of the clip, Levin declared, “It is NOT the moral and principled thing to do to stand down in this election ... It is NOT the conservative thing to do to stand down in this election.”

I guess Levin is watching Glenn Beck turning into a dumpster fire, and he’s also looking at his own dismal ratings too. Some of these holier than thou conservatives still don’t get what’s going on. They think Ted Cruz will ride in on a white horse in 2020 and save the GOP and the nation! Yeah, right.
You mean trashing 3/4 of your listening audience is not a ratings winner? Someone needs to let FOX in on that secret.

Apologies if conservatism and holding our cantidate accountable is poison to the ears but you don’t check your conservatism in at the door and march to the tune of sometimes liberal and outrageous positioned just because it’s “our guy”

Levin smearing Trump as “Nixonian” was sooo conservative. Not. Levin baselessly smearing FR is sooo conservative.
Trump has ALWAYS been about issues. Trade and immigration. The only cult here is the sore losers who feel Saint Ted of Goldman can do no wrong.

No my friend that would be truth in words. See he has clearly stated what is stance has been and been quite clear about it. Some choose to hear only what they wish even if unpopular.
Many have tied themselves into knots to justify the voting of someone all know is a liberal with some conservative positions. I’m ok with holding my nose and voting for this man. While not conservative it is nice to see him attempt to take down the establishment but let please not pretend that after 20+ years of being a liberal Trump all of a sudden is the shining light walking on water.
At best he has truly changed...more than likely a chameleon that lives putting in a good show

Sounds to me like every vote I’ve ever cast for anyone in the GOP, except now it is quite clear that the conservative positions they claimed to hold WERE ALL LIES.
So, seeing as you you are a GOP voter, voting for Trump should be no problem at all and no different than any other vote you have cast in the past, except that there is at least some chance that he actually means what he says, whereas the GOP obviously means nothing that they say and never did.
