I dont know, but as far as violent criminal thugs go, I just dont care what color they are.
I’m sure Jeff must be getting tired of replacing plate glass. The first time he got hit, the robbers broke his storefront glass just before the store opened and were greeted by an employee with a gun and fled.
This most recent time the glass in his display cases had to be replaced. Believe he did it himself. I hope his insurer garnishes their prison wages until his deductible is met. At 9 cents an hour, maybe by 2029.

Actually any made in the last 50 years is probably an AKM, not an AK47. The AKM was introduced as the Soviet replacement for the AK47 in 1959. The major difference was the AKM’s receiver is stamped, while the AK47’s is milled, which also reduced the weight by a couple pounds. But either way, changing the trigger assembly makes it a modified version of that AKxx, not a whole other rifle. For example, if I changed the stock on a Ruger 10-22 it’s still a Ruger 10-22. A variant of a gun is still generally considered to be that model.

Legally, the thugs who temporarily escaped are responsible for the death of their associate & can be charged with an additional count, adding to their eventual jail time.

My Houston area brother thinks that at least one more may have been
hit and that the car was found because they crashed it.
The guy with the rifle might have shot the car up as they escaped.

It also puts the lie to the suggestion that when civilians start shooting they kill more than just the bad guy.

An AK-47 is full automoatic. A semi-auto that looks like an AK-47 is no more an AK-47 than a replica of a Ferrari based upon a Corvette is actually a Ferrari.
