Looking solely at how frequently the author switches between rates and absolute numbers I suspect his analysis is weak.

The big elephant in this room, as in the article, is that under Barack Hussein Obama, race relations have gotten WORSE, NOT BETTER. In fact, relations between the races are a disaster, as the article shows.

Of course whites are always conflated or enlarged to include every race other than blacks to make them look bad when necessary.
The article specifically states that “whites” include Hispanics. I wonder what the stats would show if these two groups were broken out?
Also, I noticed that they didn’t include Asians. Is it because the number of inter-racially homicidal Asians is so small that it’s not worth counting? Are they also largely exempt from being murdered by members of other races? (If so, lucky them!)
The statistic that they say Trump cited was almost certainly due to a typo, a transition from one column to another.
I’ve addressed this same thing multiple times on this forum in response to others posting the same.
White or black: if you fall victim to a violent crime you are vastly more likely to be attacked by a member of your own race.

Well, look at the data that article provides a bit closer...
It shows that the number of black people murdered and the number of white people murdered are remarkably similar. This simplistic data actually highlights how much more violence, per capita, that black people suffer.
The cause is pretty much as one cop indicated concerning Chicago, IIRC, that a small number of gang and drug related habitual, violent criminals are in fact terrorizing black communities.
The same fact also likely accounts for how that so many whites are killed by blacks: the same thugs preying on people (and each other) in general.
No way to say, based on those graphs, how non-black gang members affect that though I’m willing to bet that a substantial percentage of interracial homocides are likewise gang related.
The unwillingness to talk about this is akin to not identifying the religion of terrorists and given the numbers of people.
If every gang banger suddenly dropped dead the homocide rates for the next year and thereafter would drop to a fraction of present levels.
Considering the partizenship recently displayed by the FBI any statistics put forth by them are highly suspect.
Funny how crime statistics lump whites and Hispanics together, whereas in almost every other statistical analysis, they are kept separate.
Maybe one reason people think violent crime is rising is that every time there’s a shooting with multiple victims, the media and Obama talk as if gun violence has risen to out-of-control, unprecedented levels. Yet they try to blame the perception entirely on Trump.

The stats are skewed from the start in several major ways: 61% of crimes are excluded because they lack information about the killer, 17% are excluded because there is more than one victim or one killer, and whites are lumped together with Hispanics. These aren’t exactly minor details.
