Somehow Comey’s corruption becomes a bash on J. Edgar Hoover. Whatever, not much surprises me anymore.
One would presumably rather have Hoover than Comey — still, there were problems in the Hoover administration of the bureau too. The main difference seems to be in the size of them.
I've read in credible places that the whole cross-dressing thing was a KGB disinformation op from start to finish.
Kind of like their campaign claiming that Pope Pius XII (who saved at least 500,000 Jews in WWII by defying and out-smarting Hitler and Mussolini) was collaborating with Hitler. The Left ate up the KGB fairy-tale--first of all, because they were told to. And also because they hate the Church for and trying to take away their pornography and undermining the Soviet Union.
