The FBI sent two agents to attend religious services at a Mormon church in Burns on Jan. 10 as part of its investigation into the takeover of the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge....

"Was I there to investigate you? Partly yes," (Ben) Jones said under questioning by defendant Ryan Bundy, who was at the church that day. "I was there to see if you were recruiting people."......

On Jan. 1 FBI agents learned of a plan "to take the refuge," FBI agent Chadd Lapp testified.

Lapp said he heard information from another agent. Ammon Bundy's lawyer Marcus Mumford referred to an email sent to the regional refuge law enforcement office that he said made mention of "intelligence from four people within the militia about a plan to take the refuge."...

Lapp also acknowledged that government informant Mark McConnell, who was driving the Jeep in which Ammon Bundy was riding when police stopped it on Jan. 26 and arrested Bundy and other occupation leaders likely was paid by the FBI for his help.

Lapp wasn't allowed to say how much McConnell was paid, but said he had seen a bureau proposal to pay McConnell....

Earlier Wednesday, jurors heard from an elder in Siletz tribe, Shelia Warren. She had visited the refuge for about two hours on Jan. 24 and spoke highly of the people she met. Repeatedly, the judge instructed Warren simply to answer the questions asked, and not volunteer information........

She described the dozen people she met at the refuge as "very friendly," "very open," and "respectful", and said she didn't notice any firearms there....

She said the artifacts were "dirty, and they were dusty" and they had rodent droppings on them, but they were intact and not damaged......

The first day of the defense case in the Oregon Standoff Trial with an FBI agent testifying about his spying on Ryan Bundy at the Mormon church in Burns, Oregon.

How many mosques has the FBI visited lately is a question on the minds of many at FR this morning.

Too bad Hillary Clinton's emails weren't stored in a Mormon church.

We learned that four informants at least were providing info to the FBI with another agent testifying that informant Mark McConnell was paid for his work.

What is the price of 30 pieces of silver these days?

An indian tribe elder who visited the protest spoke highly of the protestors and at one point of her testimony flat out said "I didn't trust the FBI" and later on said "I heard that five of them ....were under investigaton for lying" with Judge Anna Brown cutting her off at that point and striking her accurate comment about the HRT members from the record.

Today Rev. Franklin Graham, who spoke with David Fry inside the refuge, will testify with Sheriff Dave Ward called back to the stand as well for the defense.

We had this guy pegged as a lackey a week before they killed LaVoy.

An FBI plant driving the vehicle that Bundy was arrested in. The last 48 hours of info out of the refuge was filtered, manipulated, and put out by this FBI informant with the help of FBI and OSP "tech advisers" that were trying to block all other comms from the refuge.

This man and his companions will set you up for murder if it will promote themselves or their cause.

- I spoke with Nate Thompson, Clackamas Co. SO PIO, who will call Lt. Needham. Nate is going to request Virtual Operations Support Team (VOST) assistance to monitor media reporting. This was very helpful at the UCC shooting. He is also going to grab relevant social media accounts for use by HCSO to keep the refuge folks from grabbing them. (Nate can likely come tomorrow to help)

- I have requested FBIHQ set up a media email account for media to have one-stop shopping for requests through the JIC. Beyond that, Lt. Needham or I will figure out a one-stop shopping phone line that can be monitored from the JIC

The FBI had comms and VOST control of all information going in and out of the compound, and at least 2 undercover contractors engaged in wet work inside the compound. They knew exactly what was being said and planned. And they knew exactly what ALL OF US were seeing and hearing from the compound as well because this man

...and he was the last and only one broadcasting from within the compound, was in the truck behind Lavoy's at the first stop, and was the only man not arrested in both vehicles that left the compound.

....and was the first on the internet to say that LaVoy charged the cops before he was shot.

He was driving the truck that Bundy was in when he was arrested.

Mark McConnell was the only man out of both vehicles that was not arrested in the take down.

His side of the story is all anyone could hear of what was going on and he turns out to be an FBI paid informant.

Its safe to say that this man will set in the pickup seat right next to you while the FBI or its goons needlessly gun you down.
