American University professor Allan Lichtman (whose class this editor took as a college freshman) has correctly predicted the results of every presidential election since 1984 using his system of 13 "keys." The keys, 13 yes/no questions, are explained in detail in his book: Predicting the Next President: The Keys to the White House 2016
In this inerview with The Washington Post, Lichtman predicts that Donald Trump will win the election.
ALLAN LICHTMAN: Donald Trump has made this the most difficult election to assess since 1984. We have never before seen a candidate like Donald Trump, and Donald Trump may well break patterns of history that have held since 1860.
We've never before seen a candidate who's spent his life enriching himself at the expense of others. He's the first candidate in our history to be a serial fabricator, making up things as he goes along. Even when he tells the truth, such as, "Barack Obama really was born in the U.S.," he adds two lines, that Hillary Clinton started the birther movement, and that he finished it, even though when Barack Obama put out his birth certificate, he didn't believe it. We've never had a candidate before who not just once, but twice in a thinly disguised way, has incited violence against an opponent.

I’ve seen other Hillary surrogates say that Trump enriched himself at the expense of others. How can they possibly say this? The Clintons are the ones that enriched themselves at the expense of others, and not by working or creating or building anything. How do they possibly call building things, creating jobs and paying taxes enrichment at the expense of others?

Which is why we'll be hearing more and more about how the Russians are rigging the election. It's to prepare for their coming effort to de-legitimize the coming Trump presidency.
For me, it seems too obvious to state that blacks thugs rioting in the streets because a black thug was shot by the police works to the detriment of the Democrats. I would also note that the flash points have been in swing states of late, Wisconsin, North Carolina.
Exactly. Watch where they happen. This is being staged, and managed, just like the Occupy clowns were. That why nothing has happened in Tulsa. No chance of flipping OK to Hillary.
Except I think it works in the other direction. I guess you could say that a good riot will get a few more marginally connected Af-Am voters off the couch on election day, but it will also push independents towards the GOP. I think the wash is in Trump’s favor.
We both know that. They don’t. It is biting them right on the butt. Starting with Ferguson, they tried to “never let a crisis go to waste” since they knew they would have a problem getting Blacks to the polls for Hillary. Since they cannot do it via encouragement, they are trying to do it by creating fear in the Black community.
This isn’t the 1st time. Look at the attempt to manufacture a fake out break of fires at black church and the NAACP “Lyncing” ad ran against Bush in 2000.
