John Brennan on Thursday recalled being asked a standard question for a top security clearance at his early CIA lie detector test: Have you ever worked with or for a group that was dedicated to overthrowing the US?
“I froze,” Brennan said during a panel discussion about diversity in the intelligence community at the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation’s annual conference. “This was back in 1980, and I thought back to a previous election where I voted, and I voted for the Communist Party candidate.”

It'd even be worth it to redefine their jobs to watching TV, and then replace them in the real jobs, if that's what it took.
I thought of that first in regard to the judges. Use Congress's power to regulate the judiciary to place the existing judges in a new federal court system presiding over, say, jaywalking on federal highways. Then reappoint new judges to the real courts. It does an end run around the lifetime appointment.
The only hope is Trump and his finding enough people to stand up to the machine to take it apart and put it back together the way it should be.
IMHo, the odds of that happening are about 50/50 because that's a lot of oxen to gore and it's tough to find people who can't be swayed.
