NEW YORK U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon said Thursday that his greatest achievement at the helm of the worlds biggest international organization was last years climate change accord in Paris, and he expressed open frustration that Republicans in the U.S. continue to obstruct President Obama and to politicize the subject.
The debate on science and the debate on politics as far as climate change is concerned is over, Mr. Ban told The Washington Times in an exclusive interview. Still, the Republican Party, they are not convinced.
There should be no political consideration on this, he said. There should be no room for politics to get involved.

First he should show us that Global Warming is REAL
Truth no longer matters.
Whoever shouts the loudest wins.
Gorebull worming..... gangnam style.
Greatest achievement ever? Then he should quit.
what debate? I have not witnessed any real debate on the subject. The global warming crowd is not willing to discuss or debate the matter.
He must have just received Obama’s $100 Billion check ,oh wait ,unmarked plane of cash
Ban Ki Moon is a lunatic. Fitting name.
If the debate is over, no need to continue funding GW research. If they ask for more money, the debate isn’t over.
Ban ki Moonbat.
The pretender said we had ratified the Global Warming Treaty.
When did this happen? What was the “vote” count?
I agree, ban Kai-moon. And the hole UN...
I have scraped greater achievements than that off of my boots.
Just one more reason why the US should get out of the UN, and the UN should get out of the US.
Ban Ki-Loon
These clues tell us that the Earth’s climate has changed many times before. There have been times when most of the planet was covered in ice, and there have also been much warmer periods. Over at least the last 650,000 years, temperatures and carbon dioxide levels in the atmosphere have increased and decreased in a cyclical pattern. Can you see this pattern in the graph below?
These two graphs show how the amount of carbon dioxide and the Earth’s temperature have changed over the last 650,000 years. Both graphs show a similar up-and-down pattern.
These graphs are based on the Vostok ice core from Antarctica. They do not include the most recent increases in carbon dioxide and temperature caused by humans. Notice the strong connection between carbon dioxide and temperature. Source: EPA’s Climate Change Indicators (2016) and Petit et al. (2001).
People didn’t cause the climate change that occurred thousands or millions of years ago, so it must have happened for other natural reasons.
