The electors are selected, and there are rules for that.
What we have is a problem where the ballots have been printed, votes have been cast and literally, it’s a disenfranchising act to eliminate one of the candidates and replace them with another after the first vote has been cast. If they had removed her and replaced her days before North Carolina, in a rush to be extremely liberal in its voting, there would have been a legitimate case to allow them to replace her.
As it stands now, the votes have started, and so she’s there. No matter what. A few weeks ago, a politician apparently committed suicide before his primary election was done. They wanted to replace him. They were not allowed. His corpse won the primary. Sorry, but once the first vote is cast, it’s not legal to go change the game in the middle.
She drops out, and they will have to run her anyway. She dies, and they have to run the Hillary corpse, with the understanding that they would have to run her letting everyone know to vote for her and she’d be replaced by so and so.
In the voting situation, yes, technically, we’re voting for electors. But, we’re casting votes for the people who are running the race, not the named electors. So, yes, there is ground to file suit against the election boards, the Democrat party of both North Carolina and the federal party to prevent them from taking a blatantly illegal action according to North Carolina law. Filing it in federal court allows me to sweep in the national party and literally use the court action to subpoena their e-mail records and have an injunction filed preventing the change until the subpoenas have been answered and have been granted proper time to provide answer in court.
if she wins, we at least know what a scuz she is....other nations hate her guts...and KARMA is going to catch her....
but we do not want her replaced....we want her to continue....
You file in federal court, you are denied standing because your state legislature has plenary power to select the Electors, how that is done is NOT a federal issue at all. You might as well complain to the feds about garbage pickup in you neighborhood. Besides, you arent a Democrat.</sarcasm> . . . and after the Electors are selected, it is up to the state to try to enforce faithless Elector laws. If you think the president should be popularly elected, the Electoral College is an utterly strange institution . . . because the Framers did not think that, or they never would have instituted it.
