Here's everything Donald Trump just promised in his major speech on the economy

Donald Trump on Thursday shared his economic vision with supporters gathered at the Waldorf Astoria hotel in Manhattan, promising trillions in tax cuts, energy reform, a crackdown on trade, and a reduction in the number of tax brackets.

Trump, the Republican presidential nominee, estimated his plan would create 25 million in new jobs, and that the massive tax cut would be offset by gross domestic product growth of at least 3.5%, on average, each year for the next decade.

"This is the most pro-growth, pro-jobs, pro-family plan put forth perhaps in the history of our country," Trump said, according to the prepared remarks.

The New York businessman touted plans that he's championed in recent weeks, including the child care tax credit he said his daughter Ivanka worked on with him, and a reduction in the business tax rate from 35% to 15%. He said the latter would lead to "an explosion" of new jobs.

The Republican nominee also said he would put a moratorium on all new federal regulations, aside from ones "compelled by Congress or public safety," adding that he'd eliminate the Waters of the US Rule and the Environmental Protection Agency's Clean Power Plan.

Why offset tax cuts? Just get rid of worthless government programs (welfare, etc.)

Maybe our Economy can recover as fast as Hillary did Sunday. That would be miraculous.

After Obama got into the White House, he created dozens of Czars and worthless government offices full of thousands of federal workers. If President Trump reverses Obama edicts, we'll save billions of dollars lost annually by Obama actions.

Best takeaway line of his speech:

“It used to be that we made cars in Flint and you couldn’t drink the water in Mexico. Now we make cars in Mexico and you can’t drink the water in Flint.”

Hillary could create 25 million government jobs.

I can hear the screech of her voice....”My Plan can hire 25 million people in the 1st 100 days in office with just my (crooked) pen”

My brain hurts thinking of the government jobs she could creat

Fire ALL those federal drones.

Let’s see if they can make it in the private sector.

Noting that I will gladly Vote Trump, please consider the following.

Patriots need to get constitutionally low-information Trump up to speed with the following constitutional reality concerning the things that he is planning for the feds to give tax credits and tax cuts on.

The problem is that the states have never delegated to the feds, expressly via the Constitution, the specific powers to appropriate taxes for the things that Trump wants to provide tax relief for.

Trump needs to start working with the people to exercise their voting muscle to peacefully “force” the corrupt feds to surrender 10th Amendment-protected state powers that the feds have been stealing from the states for many generations back to the states, and also put a stop to unconstitutional federal taxes based on those stolen powers, such taxes arguably stolen state revenues.

If Trump doesn’t force the feds to surrender stolen state powers, then corrupt Congress, working in cahoots with another lawless president, will eventually use stolen state powers to start appropriating unconstitutional federal taxes again.

3 1/2% GDP growth with this economic plan? Bullschtein!

More like 5% on AVERAGE.

After we weather obama/jarret’s scorched earth attempt to destroy everything we hold dear, the first few years of Trump as CIC, GDP will approach 6% or higher.

Trump’s plan is job-focused and Hillary’s plan is welfare-focused. Neither is a perfect solution to digging out from under a $20T debt, but Trump’s is a better approach.

Trump said that lifting restrictions on energy production, which are in place for environmental protection, would increase GDP "by more than $100 billion per year" and add 500,000 jobs.

Isn't that dependent on oil prices? Increasing output would tend to drive prices down which would discourage expensive production projects and reduce employment.

His growth projection would offset $1.8 trillion of his tax plan, while the reforms would offset the remaining $2.6 trillion, he said.

I'm sorry but every tax cut proposed in the past 40 years was supposed to be offset by increased growth and greater revenue. And it's never come to pass because spending has never been cut. A one percent reduction in all non-defense, non-veteran spending would result in maybe $6 billion a year in savings. That wouldn't make a dent in our current deficit much less cover the increases to defense spending and infrastructure spending and non-discretionary spending.

The Republican nominee also said he would . . . eliminate the Waters of the US Rule and the Environmental Protection Agency’s Clean Power Plan.

This one campaign promise should compel every single farm owner in the country to crawl on hands and knees if necessary to cast their vote for Trump. The Waters of the US Rule is nothing but a Communist-inspired attempt to harass landowners, bankrupt anyone who dares to oppose them, and drive people off their land. The EPA is the primary attack force responsible for implementation of AGENDA 21.
