Like some of you, I've been a bit puzzled how this subliminal Clinton/Democrat partisan and ersatz political pollster Larry Sabato character found his way to Thomas Jefferson's UVA. Turns out old Larry, like Bill Clinton and many other left leaning double dome "experts", was a RHODES SCHOLAR! Jefferson must be whirling in his grave up the hill there in Charlottesville!
Don't have bandwidth to explore that here but if YOU want to explore the Marxist roots of where we find ourselves today, pick up a copy of "Tragedy and Hope" (available several on-line sellers)) by Bill Clinton's old chum and Georgetown professor Carrol Quigley. Because old Carrol supported the early push to what we now call "Globalist totalitarianism", naming names and describing their various machinations, he outed their plan in his tome. Get a case of wine before you start: The thing's 1348 pages long!
The "takeaway" appears in this excerpt from P.949:

Larry Sabato .... in this part of the country, we call him “Larry Sabotage”.
UVA went ultra liberal in the 80’s. It has infected the town of Charlottesville as well, making them the most snobbish of Virginians. It was a great University and town when my relatives attended in the late 50’s.
