Was it Hitlery who arranged for the candidates to NOT appear together at the forum? Or was that for some other reason? I thought that was pretty strange, too.

Separate appearances for forums and town hall type events have been done before. During the primary, Cruz and Trump appeared separately in Wisconsin at a town hall taking questions from the audience.

I'm wondering too if Hillary will be able to show up for the debates. Judging from the news spin the last couple of days, the media will say Trump backed out.

He declares martial law, he can do ANYTHING he likes. Suspend all courts, suspend the CONSTITUTION, suspend Congress, federalized ALL POLICE, state, local, sheriffs, etc. If any go against him, he can have the FBI arrest that sheriff or police chief and put one of their own in charge. Under martial law, he can do absolutely anything he wants. He will officially become a dictator at that point. Because only he can lift it. He decides when time is up and conditions are right to go back to the way it should be. Do you really think he would ever reach that point? I seriously doubt it. Once martial law is placed on the nation, only an armed national uprising would come about. But, as part of martial law he can demand total gun control and take up the guns that the government has paper work on that you bought in a gun store. Freeze ammo sales, etc. Anyone caught with a firearm can be put in jail.
