Lena Dunham is in the contrite phase in her franchise of rapid-cycling self-exploration layered with the dehumanizing bigotry and filth she regularly discharges into American culture. She was back in the news recently for past degrading remarks against Asian-Americans regarding rape.
Dunham's specialty is monetizing the entertainment value of rape. She had previously received a rebuke from the Anti-Defamation League for belching out shopworn bigotries about Jewish men being cheap momma's boys. In today's episode of Lena's excretions, she offered a shallow, silly apology to Odell Beckham for being "unfair" in assuming he had snubbed her at a gala.
Lena lamented, "I don't rep a certain standard of beauty, and so when I show up to the Met Ball surrounded by models and swan-like actresses, it's hard not to feel like a sack of flaming garbage." Beckham made it clear he couldn't care less about her self-serving, showy regret. But in the course of the folderol, Dunham is getting closer to estimating her real worth. She does owe an apology to the generation she reps. Not for physical homeliness, but for her spiritual deformity.

I remember watching one of Dunham’s episodes of “girls” a few years ago, just to see what all the talk was about.
It literally featured scenes of her going to the toilet, twice. Once outdoors, upon some railroad tracks.
I learned everything about her I needed to know.

Girls is one of the worst shows I have ever seen. Super disgusting, and I can’t believe any real person would act or treat people like the “girls” in that show.

It's interesting how much of liberalism is concerned with bathroom and other private activities.
Many committed leftists are (1) not very creative or intelligent, and (b) obsessed with the need to appear creative and intelligent.
This leads them to resort to acts of attention getting that are just shocking, but nothing more.
That's why you see so many "demonstrations" involving people getting naked, women baring their breasts, etc.
Also they frequently don't have much going on in their lives of a productive nature, so they sit around and contemplate their need for sex and drugs, and their excretory functions.
They also achieve a sort of gratification by rebelling against human dignity, because they don't value themselves or the life they've been granted.
