Nicely put.
It’s good to be able to post some common sense or factual statements at sites inhabited by low info voters.
Thank you. I can think of several counter arguments that are also reasoned.
I have counter arguments against those too.
Youtube keeps giving me warnings about something I posted but they never tell me what I did wrong.
“ABC is issued a license to provide a public service with their disbursement of information for the public good.”
“What if I told you they are violating their license by doing what they are. They are providing false information to the public as an adjunct to their news organization.”
ABC News does not have a license. However, some local ABC network affiliates do have broadcast licenses. The network and the affiliates are entirely different entities.
To take it a little further, if pressed, ABC News would maintain that their online content and the content they offer to their affiliates are different entities.
Online content is not regulated by the FCC.
“These entities receive all sorts of government funding for various things they do.”
ABC News receives government funding?
Except that they operate as a government sponsored monopoly via their broadcast license. This would not be a problem if there were a diversity of political view among the broadcast networks but they are all liberal. This needs to be challenged.
ONLY THE DUMB ARE WELCOME!
The "sheeple sites" are where we need to be posting. It's a waste of time posting "Hillary is a crook!" on Free Republic. Everyone here already knows that. Nobody on Free Republic is voting for her.
Need to be hitting up the MSM sites, getting the message out there. Like it or not, that's still where most Americans (aka "swing voters") are getting their news.
Then stay away and let the adults wage the info war.
What is more frightening is the fact that news players have such a blatant bias as to invite opposing views.
We've always known it was there, but now they're not even trying to hide it, nor are they apparently ashamed to function as such obvious propaganda tools on behalf of what is a criminal enterprise.
Are you being forced to use the ABC News site?
If someone can be hounded and sued by the government for refusing to bake a cake, then it is the responsibility of the government to also hound and sue those who inhibit free speech while enjoying the Constitutional right for their own purposes.
What's yer point?
Once Disqus started allowing sites to simply ban people by their account name (along with wiping out every posting they ever wrote), which was about a month ago, sites both left and right take advantage of this and clear out us ‘troublemakers’.
But that doesn’t mean we cannot troll...which is what we have to do now, if we still want to be heard. So here’s an example - gun control:
What we would like to write:
“I agree with Trump that Hillary is gunning for the Second Amendment and will simply used Executive Orders, backed up by a totally compromised court system to take guns out of civilian hands. If she is elected, nothing short of civil war will be able to stop her.”
Here’s the same point, except by trolling:
“I cannot wait for Hillary to FINALLY rid this country of guns in the hands of people that do not need them. I have no problem with police, militaries, and other government entities having having guns, but the idea that any Tom, Dick, or Harry can own weapons so dangerous is just plain nuts. Trump is crazy saying that the Second Amendment allows private ownership of guns and Hillary will PROVE HIM WRONG, probably in her first 100 days, with her executive actions, backed up by a court system that finally acts in a rational way.”
I think that one can even make the case that the trolling approach is even more effective than just stating an opinion. If I were a Democrat-leaning gun owner, the second argument would scare the hell out of me (which is why Hillary is silent on guns).
She doesn’t know what Aggregation of Data is (neither does her followers), Original Classification Authority Responsibilities (neither does her followers) [...]
No wonder it was banned.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
I does not wonder.
No, are you?
I'd be interested in seeing some examples of that.
Traitors are showing their hands. Good.
The media exists to promote a leftist agenda.
