House conservatives plot coup against Paul Ryan

Conservatives don’t have enough votes to oust Ryan (R-Wis.). But they say their coup movement shows his hold on the speakership is far more tenuous than he realizes. Denying Ryan re-election on the first ballot would undermine his political future and cast him as a conservative pariah, they say, and may give conservatives leverage to enact rules changes that would help them push their agenda for years.

“If he loses the speaker election, he’s not going to be president,” one conservative member told The Huffington Post on Monday.

Conservatives hold no illusion of preventing Ryan from remaining speaker (or, you know, becoming president), according to the eight Republicans HuffPost interviewed on Monday. That there is coup chatter at all, however, suggests Ryan’s relationship with conservatives is already fraying, less than a year into his speakership.

Ryan won’t ever be President because he does not believe in the sentiment felt by real Americans who are citizens born here and those who have come from elsewhere that have fully assimilated and taken America’s traditions and ambitions to heart. He is NOT drive-by America - never, ever was, nor EVER will be. He is a scheming coward in my opinion, like so, so many other scheming RINOs.

The lying GOP LOVES Ryan, loves ObamaTRADE,
loves ObamaCARE *for others than themselves,
and supports every treason, every day, including their own
(McCain) use of the IRS.

If they do not remove Ryan, NONE deserve anything
other than removal ... and then indictment.

I think that Ryan might have hitched his wagon to the wrong star.

I’ve learned there is a lot of wisdom behing the expression “never say never”. Many FReepers were convinced Ryan would lose his primary despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary. Wishful thinking is fine, but not a good substitute for reality, and pretty much everything in America’s future depends on Trump winning in November. If that doesn’t happen and the GOP reverts to pre-Trump status, why wouldn’t Ryan have as good a chance as the next Uniparty-establishment favorite?

His only path the the Presidency is if Trump and Pence are assassinated after the election.

Maybe they shouldn’t have voted him in in the first place.

If that happens then that means my country is no more, frankly.

Truly was a mysterious thing how that all came about. No one, including Representatives, seemed to understand why it happened the way it did. Act of God?

Let’s see, 16 years of Trump/Pence, interwoven with 16 years of the Dems, and that puts Ryan at 78 years of age, turning 79 in a prospective first week of office...

Now, the question will be: Ryan (and Boehner and McConnell) REFUSED to TRY to fight ANTHING Obola (or Reid) wanted ....

We expect neither Ryan, nor Boehner, nor McConnell will fight Hillary over anything that matters.

If Trump wins the Presidency, WHO will these four fight? Will they join the democrats and fight Trump? Or will join Trump and fight the democrats and bureaucrats and press corpse?

Will the RINO-GROPe fight Trump, or will they join with Pelosi and Reid and ram veto-proof legislation/lame duck legislation through that Obola will take credit for - WITH the very, very willing cooperation of Obola’s national press corpse?

Same ones who plotted against Boehner — twice — and folded at the last minute — twice.

Yeah, Ryan is ‘laughing’ in his boots.

Ryan’s relationship with conservatives is already fraying, less than a year into his speakership.

That was true before the end of last year when he pushed for the Omnibus spending bill that eventually passed.

I was thinking similar. They got rid of Boner just to get Ryan?

So if they can muster votes to get rid of Ryan, just what will they come up with next?

No disagreement here. The future of the nation depends on stopping Obama/Clinton and having Trump put us back on the right track. I can’t see us taking even four years of her.
