For one day, a mother said she did not have to worry about her son eating lunch by himself after he was joined by Florida State University wide receiver Travis Rudolph.
A sweet photo capturing Rudolph and autistic sixth-grader Bo Paske having lunch on Tuesday at Tallahassee's Montford Middle School has since circulated on social media.
The 20-year-old was among five football players visiting the school to meet with students when he saw Bo by himself at a table in the lunch room, and asked if he could sit with him.

My oldest son experienced this sort of isolation at an exclusive snobby Belle Meade private school we tried when he was 6 or 7
Stuck eating with the custodian
Kids can be cruel to each other
I'm very impressed with Rudolph.....someone taught him well or he has natural empathy
The heartfelt words from Bo's mom got me misty
A good news piece
This Gator is very impressed.
God bless Travis for his act of kindness
I might actually have to cheer for the Noles for once
Notice that this is in the British media. The corrupt, vile, Hillary @ss-kissing U.S. media would never run a story like this because it might offend the Bowel-Movement Lives Matter.
Great guy.
The ‘Noles will be playing against my favorite team Monday night. I want us to win, but dangit, it will not hurt my feelings if that guy has a good game.
What a nice thing to do!
Uh? Isn’t he a Seminole?
Thank you Travis
Yes. Can’t a Gator complement a Seminole?
Very, very sweet.
Good for the kind football player.
“A good news piece”

Indeed. Thanks for passing it along. What a thoughtful thing for Rudolph to do.
I posted the article on Facebook this morning. So sweet. Good news for a change.
I first read about it on deadspin.
The really sad part about that, and your son’s experience, is that the same teachers who completely freak out when someone makes a “gun” out of piece of bread or tries to pray completely ignored that this kid being ignored BY EVERY KID IN HIS CLASS.
They’re also very good at ignoring how special needs kids get treated in general by the “normal” kids.
Travis Rudolph - CLASS
Colin Kaepernick - JACKASS
There is a difference.
Thank you Mr. Rudolph for being a “Mensch”.
Now that is one football player I can commend for SITTING down.
In this situation, complimenting a Seminole is not only allowed but encouraged.
A good man.
