Democrats and Republicans are more divided on gun control than they have been in years, a new poll shows.
The gap in the public’s differed priorities regarding gun policies has grown increasingly wide since 2000. Between Aug. 9 and Aug. 16 Pew Research conducted a survey on gun control versus protecting gun rights including 2,010 adults, 1,567 of which were registered voters.
The poll showed that in 2000, the percentage gap sat at 20 percent with a favor in controlling gun ownership over protecting gun rights. By 2012, this percentage gap grew to a 41 percent difference. Today, it is at a 70 percent difference, with 79 percent of Hillary Clinton supporters and 9 percent of Donald Trump supporters. Democrats are becoming increasingly in favor of gun control while the Republicans are more concerned with protecting gun rights.

gun control and the Demon Rat’s devotion to disarming law abiding Democrat constituencies is a hot button issue that Trump could truly use to pull more Democrats away from the statist Hitlery.
Imagine: he could tell blacks, union workers, even some gun toting feminists the truth: Hitlery would appoint SCOTUS justices who would grant government the power to confiscate weapons THEY use to protect themselves.
Even if he only convinces 3 to 5 percent of these people the truth, it would be a significant move in the vote.
My Constitutional Right trumps your “opinion” and since we’re talking the Second Amendment I can back it up with jacketed hollow points.
My enumerated rights are not subject to the whims of polls.

The real irony is liberals have no problem using guns to take yours away. In fact they have no problem with guns. Their problem is that you can have them too. When they talk about a gun free society its not theirs they’re referring too.
Hence the long-shouted mantra of “democracy!”, enacting the whims of the persuaded majority.
Nothing threatens the Left more than inalienable individual rights.
Gee! I wonder how “slanted” the questions were? Hey, when you have your own poll you ask the questions that you already know the answers to and ONLY ask people who you know will answer them correctly.
recent firearm purchase numbers across this country disprove the point of this article. But like political polls, they are more to shape thinking than they are to demonstrate truth of what actually is.
Well, I recall the signature drive the bloomin’ idiots did to get Question 1 on the ballot. Heard the same woman in two locations talking up how if the dummies signed the petition it would finally put and end to “gun violence” because no criminals would be able to obtain guns any longer and it would also put an end to “domestic violence” as well. Mostly to females and older folks.(Some younger than me. LOL!) Oh, and she also had a 2nd petition to “Tax and Regulate” marijuana. Don’t think she mentioned it was basically an okay for recreational mj use in NV. Coming soon to a ‘hood near you.
Yet somehow polls now show more people are against guns than for them. Yeah right. Just like tens of thousands go see Trump, and less than a hundred to see Hillary, but somehow they're tied in the polls.
Wake up, everyone - trust your eyes, not the polls. The polls are lies - all of them. Polls are what the Rats do when they're losing.
The EXISTENCE of a poll means the Rats are lying about the subject because they're LOSING.
We might have to shoot it out.
I know it's expensive having to pay for Bill Of Rights licensures, but fortunately, few of us - so far - need to avail ourselves of most of its other aspects.
Remember that that gun is properly registered and licensed.

Funny, when Libs talk about abortion, they say that if you don’t like abortion, don’t have one.
So why don’t they accept that if they don’t like guns, don’t buy one ??
