Good morning, I’m still reporting on polls. UPI Daily Tracking Poll
For the first time since the Democratic National Convention, Donald Trump is now leading Hillary Clinton in a daily tracking poll done by United Press International – or UPI. Trump now leads by 48,2% over 47.7% for Clinton.
Donald Trump has been catching up to Hillary Clinton in the UPI Daily Tracking Poll since he bottomed out on Aug. 6th at 43.14% - 9 days after the Democratic Convention.
Clinton has led Trump by as many as 7 points, but Trump got a huge 10 point bump from the Republican National Convention from July 18-21st.
Clinton’s bump from her convention – July 25-28 - was far less significant – 5% at the most, and some of that was due to Trump missteps.
Clinton hit her high on Aug. 16th at 50.84% - about a 7 point lead over Trump. But in the last 10 days, an impressive turnaround has occurred. Trump has risen 4 and-a-quarter points, while Clinton has slipped 3.1 percentage points – a 7.5 percentage point shift. Other polls are showing similar results.

In a new Reuters poll - which has always favored Clinton - her lead in just the last 3 days has slipped from a 12-point advantage, to only a 5-point advantage.
Ohio Poll
In Ohio, Trump and Clinton are tied at 42% each in a 4-way race with 6% undecided, however, Trump has a huge 20-point lead in the independent vote. That means he will get not only the peal-off voters from the other two minor candidates, Johnson and Stein, but the lion’s share of the undecideds as well.

- Trump holds a significant lead among independent women 47% to 26%. Wow! This means Trump is going to get most of the undecideds.
- Trump gets a 10 point lead with Florida men
Gingrich has said that the electoral map of Florida is a microcosm of the rest of the country. If true, it is no wonder the democrats are flipping out and attacking Trump like they are. These Florida numbers are fantastic and Trump may be doing much better than the media says. Duh!

These numbers are bogus-—they are low. The reason they are low is that Ravi has been posting voter registration numbers in FL, county by county, and the Rs are cleaning up. Thousands and thousands of new Rs and thousands of fewer Ds since 2012, even in Miami-Dade.
So ANY poll is going to falsely portray the sample size and have it weighted D, EVEN if using 2012 numbers (which none of them do).

Did you catch the off hand remark that Nigel Farage made as he worked the crowd in Mississippi? He said that everyone he spoke to had never voted before.
I wear a T-shirt, hat or something every day to shop etc. People stop me several times a day to talk...very quietly. they are often afraid to say they support him. Bumper stickers get lots of thumbs up as do the walk by hand signals...THUMBS are UP and this area is going well for Trump.
I will be at a photo booth for TRUMP next weekend outside the Gun Show Large cardboard cutout with signs FREE PHOTO with TRUMP. ( I am taking my kitchen ladder for kids and short folks to get UP to his height for head shots!)

The numbers Ravi has show both R gains and D losses. For example, in Miami Dade, since 2014 the Ds gained 800 but the Rs gained 2300, for a net gain of about 1500 R in this heavily D county.
In Jefferson, another D county, since 2012, the Ds lost 442, Rs gained 331 for a net shift of 770. So in two heavily D counties you have a net shift of 2500.
But the “swing” counties like Hillsborough and Flagler have seen much stronger shifts/R gains/D losses.
F. Chuck Todd said this morning that 538 thinks that these D to R voter registration switches are from people who vote R anyway-so they don't amount to much.

I just saw a commercial that I thought was for Donald Trump but it was supposed to be a Hillary Clintton commercial. In the commercial Trump say he’s going to bomb the shit out of Isis and at the end of the commercial I thought that it was a really good commercial for Donald Trump. I now realize that the liberals are so screwed up that they think that their commercials are against Trump but in reality that’s what most people want. He is talking about protecting this country while the liberals are against law and order and they do not want to protect the country.
I think he said they switched in the primary to vote for Trump. Er, no.

The Secret Service last week caught a guy trying to sneak onto the service elevator which serves the Trump residence in Trump Tower. He was carrying a Govt.-issue Glock with no identifying numbers from the factory—the kind made specially for Block Ops usage that you and I cannot buy—fitted with a hi-tech silencer.
