No thanks. Too much text. Not enough pictures.
Ummm.... I have a question.
Don’t lawsuits have to be filed with the lower courts and then be appealed up the chair before they get to the State Supreme Court?
This looks like it is saying that the original suit was filed with the New York State Supreme Court.
Is that even possible?
Say you are in the business of hiring beautiful, smart young women; in a field they are eager to join.
You are the lone male gate keeper. There are more applicants than positions.
Some applicants will try to get an edge.
Many men would succumb to the pressure.
Perhaps a hiring committee, or female management, but some women will always try to get an edge.
That competition is also a part of the culture that Tantaros and other women signed up for and are now complaining about. These are smart women who knew or should have known.
She could always go into accounting, or something that has more openings.
Fox News is as dead as Tantaros’ career.
That’s quite a read.
I notice she claims that females picking out the wardrobes for the coming year had to do it in the presence of wardrobe staffers. Her lawyer is very careful not the specify if there were any males among the staffers, smuggling the premise that hetero guys were ogling the females.
And as for being told to feature her legs on The Five, the ‘leg chair’ is what it is. Sex sells, and Kim’s legs are stunning. I’m a fan of Dana Perrino’s but I’ve seen her muscled legs and frumpy clothing. There’s a reason she isn’t in the ‘leg chair.’ LOL
My sympathy for Andrea remains, while my disgust for lawyers solidifies.
I’m not sure how I feel about all of the complaints, but the one against Scott Brown is ridiculously exaggerated (in my opinion). Maybe even flirting? Some of those type of complaints can ruin a person.
This is becoming more and more unbelievable the more she talks.
Kind of off topic and weird, but: What if all of this is one giant conspiracy to bring down Fox News?? I know some on you hate Fox, but I do like some of the programs they have.
Not counting MeAgain Kelly, Fox is more reliable for news than Clinton News Network or Mika what’s her name and her boy-toy Joe.
As of right now, I am just NOT buying her story, or Gretchen’s either.
Her complaint is really over the top. They made her wear short skirts to see her legs...oh no. The horror. The same girl who posts Instagram pix of her mostly naked. What a joke these lawyers are.
Andrea is very pro-Trump. Why is she hurting a Trump ally (Scott Brown) for what was clearly just flirting? Did Dave Navarro insist? And why couldn’t Dave just fashion a voodoo doll of Brown in revenge?
I used to tell my wife all the time that someone at Fox had to insist that women wore short skirts/dresses exposing thighs while sitting and that the cameras were intentionally low and pointed to reveal as much leg as possible. She agreed.
If she’d just done the “twirl” everything would have worked out swell.
The Ditzy Dames of Fox
Did Megyn Kelly write the opener? I’ve never read anything like it in all my years practicing law. Not even Gloria Allred is that over the top.
I’m not sure how a young, intelligent woman would go to work for FOX news and be surprised by the wardrobe. Clearly these women didn’t mind trading on their good looks to advance their careers.
The “twirl” doesn’t bother me either. The on-air news business is no different than Hollywood and modeling.
Asking for hugs and talking about the sex lives of other employees are the most damaging complaints against Ailes.
