Target, facing a boycott over its policy of allowing transgender customers and employees to use the bathroom of their choice, says it will spend $20 million to expand bathroom options at all of its U.S. stores.
Target (TGT) CFO Cathy Smith said Wednesday that the company has heard objections to the transgender bathroom policy from some customers, though she said other customers had voiced support. In response, Target has decided to expand its use of a third, single-toilet bathroom at all of its stores, which can be locked by users.
That bathroom can be used by any customer who needs some privacy, including parents with small children of a different gender or those who are uncomfortable with a public bathroom in which a transgender person is allowed.

I love it when leftists spend money on their brilliant ideas. It depletes the stockpiles they have to use for their real goals!
How can anyone as a stockholder justify and not want to string up management for having an EVP and Chief Corporate Social Responsibility Officer?
I mean seriously, this woman’s entire existence is coming up with shit to think is an issue all day.
Some high-end managers are just plain stupid. Companies have no business taking political stands and thereby turning off half their customer base. Perverts in the bathroom turned off 90% of us-real smart.
If she ever got canned, she’d fit right in with the incompetent top tier management at Comcast.

They can spend $20 BILLION dollars on this scam and still I would never again set foot in any of their filthy stores.
I will never go to Target again. I don’t care how many lockable bathrooms they add. I hope they go out of business.
I’m very curious about the number of people who thump their chest in public about never ever going in Target — and then either they hardly ever went before, or they go anyhow the first time it puts something they want on sale.

Sorry, but $20 million is less than 1/2% of Target’s annual NET profit, and virtually noise compared against their $74Billion in annual revenue. As stupid as their policy is, financially the cost of this is nothing.
I have as simple cost saving suggestion.
Saw on a TV ad today that Target has now added CVS pharmacies to some of their stores. We quit going to CVS when we discovered they had strong financial ties to Soros.
Went to Walgreen’s last week to get some Bayer aspirin and they had none. Asked manager about it and she said Walgreen’s is no longer carrying Bayer as well as some 250 other well known non-prescription products. Said she voiced her displeasure at one of their regional meetings, and that patrons at her store would be unhappy about not being able to get their favorite brands. According to her, Walgreen’s management said “people will get over it”.
Seems like no one really cares about the customer so we will now buy them on-line.
Maybe this was the sequel they were planning anyhow. So now having these asexual bathrooms, they can claim to be avant-garde as well as considerate of traditional bathroom mores.
So the single holer is REALLY for normal people to queue up and use if they don’t feel comfortable using tbe men’s and women’s rest rooms that are now inhabited by God knows what.
