After Donald Trump made waves by naming Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama as "the founders of ISIS," the Democrats struck back.
illary Clinton admonished rival Donald Trump on Thursday for claiming that she and Barack Obama were the founders of the Islamic State, saying anyone who would "sink so low" should never be president.
"No, Barack Obama is not the founder of ISIS," Clinton tweeted.
"Anyone willing to sink so low, so often should never be allowed to serve as our Commander-in-Chief."
Trump again roiled the presidential campaign late Wednesday, telling a rally in Florida that Obama "is the founder of ISIS."
"And I would say, the co-founder would be crooked Hillary Clinton."
Republicans have long stated that the foreign policies of Obama and his then-secretary of state Clinton share blame in helping create conditions that allowed IS to grow in Iraq and Syria.

She is right. If anyone was the founder, it was her.
They sure got fooled into founding this ghastly group, but found it they did.
Trump oughtta let the Democrats have it with both barrels here. That he himself was a Democrat once (like Ronald Reagan was) but the folly he found there made it absolutely untenable for him to continue with it. And this is just one of the more stark instances of said folly. They can keep on being fools if they want, or they can learn something. Their choice.

Hillary Clinton sat on the board of a Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) partner that is under investigation amid accusations that it supplied funds to the Islamic State during negotiations with the terrorist group.
A French company accused of sending payments to ISIS confirms to Breitbart News that Clinton served as a board member of the company, and that the company partnered with the Clinton Global Initiative as recently as 2014. Financial records show that the company donated between $50,001 and $100,000 to the Clinton Foundation, according to the Donald Trump campaign.

It is not fair that Sen John McCain does not get some ‘credit’ for ISIS. Congress funds the CIA, not the Pres or SoS.
I watched a tape of an Islam rally in 2007 and one leader stated this ; WE must get some one in washington.
About a year later Obama was in washington.
But i can also see that Obama and Clinton could be the founders of Isis in a round about way.
Hillary and Obama did not create this splinter group of Al Qaeda. Their actions allowed it to grow. Their support of the “rebels” in Syria was in effect direct support of Isis.
Al Qaeda was the seed of Isis. Obama and Hillary nurtured and watered the seed and in bloomed into the present monster it is.
Isis would have been squashed like a bug if they had not nurtured it and given it sustenance. They did not create Isis, but they did make it what it is today.
Hillary and Obama are not fools, they are far worse.
The Dems are in a bad way if the best retort they have for Trump is that he’s guilty of microagressions!

I would think Libya, Egypt, Benghazi, Iran "treaty" and ISIS might be a sufficient counter.
I remember Obama's early take on ISIS in Iraq....we didn't have any good intelligence.
