A Virginia school board may temporarily block a student who was born a girl from using the boys' bathroom while a legal fight over transgender rights proceeds on appeal, the U.S. Supreme Court said on Wednesday.
The case is the first time the fight over transgender bathroom rights has reached the Supreme Court, and the subject arrived in the heat of a U.S. presidential election in which the makeup of the court is a central issue.
In a brief order, the country's highest court put on hold an order from a lower court that had permitted the high school student to use the bathroom of his choice.
Last year, the American Civil Liberties Union sued on behalf of Gavin Grimm, 17, to challenge the Gloucester County School Board's bathroom policy, which requires transgender students to use alternative restroom facilities.
A lawyer for the school board declined to comment on the Supreme Court's order.
A lawyer for Grimm, Joshua Block, said he and his client were disappointed by the order and “disappointed that Gavin is going to have to begin another school year being stigmatized and separated from his peers as a result of this policy.”

31. Belittle all forms of American culture and discourage the teaching of American history on the ground that it was only a minor part of the “big picture.” Give more emphasis to Russian history since the Communists took over.
32. Support any socialist movement to give centralized control over any part of the culture—education, social agencies, welfare programs, mental health clinics, etc.
33. Eliminate all laws or procedures which interfere with the operation of the Communist apparatus.
34. Eliminate the House Committee on Un-American Activities.
35. Discredit and eventually dismantle the FBI.
36. Infiltrate and gain control of more unions.

The problem is, and the left’s strategy is, that the court may give ‘judicial notice’ to the fatuous concept of transgenderism, thus providing a pretext for future inevitable cases.

The only thing I can see wrong with this list is # 35. Perhaps the FBI was an instrument of anti-communism in its early days, but a federal police force could just as easily be used by the left in this day and age. We’ve just seen them go soft on one of their own political party members (Hillary) in a partisan way. The FBI could be turned on conservatives/nationalists/anti-globalists by a left-of-center president.

What should have happened: Since Hinckley was seen in the flesh in the act, he should been tried, convicted and hanged by his neck until sundown.
