The Khan family is not unique as a Gold Star Family. The are thousands of wives and mothers that have lost their sons and daughters to wars. What Mrs. Pat Smith is correct in, is that her son was NOT a combatant/soldier in this war against terrorism. My heart goes out to both families, but Mr. Khan is not alone and is misdirected in his ire.

Juuuuuust greeeeeeeat. Now the whole world including the sainted movie stars are mocking Trump on Twitter for this. How can you say to anyone who lost a child that you have made the same sacrifice? It’s the worst thing to happen to a human on this earth.

I’m pissed because today clearly the LIVs and the busy, independent people will be more likely NOT to vote Trump.

If Hillary Clinton … can’t give us the truth … why should we give her the presidency.

Not to worry Jane, she'll just take what she wants.

That's the story of her whole pathetic life.

"When Donald Trump is talking about Islam, he is ignorant. If he studied the real Islam and Koran, all the ideas he gets from terrorists would change, because terrorism is a different religion."

And the farmer hauled another load away.....

It isn’t and sometimes I wish he’d do less of shooting off at the mouth and more uplifting speaking. At times like these it is best to be reserved instead of proving to your naysayers you react prior to thinking it through.

Going after a dead soldiers family (no matter who they align to) is not a battle it’s utter stupidity.

Don't worry about it. Screw the celebrities, movies stars and libtard media mouthpieces. Trump is going to prevail.

This isn’t personal... this is about jihadism. Trump gets no pleasure out of looking like he is taking this out on every single Muslim in the world.

If world Islam can’t deal with its jihadism problem, it shouldn’t have to be forced on the USA.

The reality is they wont stop, and Trump will look bad regardless.

He can take them on (and he has every right to!), and still come across fair, reasonable and respectful.

But the old republican problem of not controlling the narrative is going to happen all over again if not careful and that always portrays a weak campaign.

Hillary should be publicly shamed for her long history of corruption and failure.

The Republicans need to get down in the mud and fight dirty - if Hilary brings out the parents of one soldier, Trump should bring out 2.

“agree. I don’t think this line of attack is a vote-gainer.”

If defending himself against the attacks on him by Mr. & Mrs Khan is not a vote gainer, why is it that Trump has risen in the polls ever since he went after the Khans?

So she admits she could not speak and still has not spoken.

If Army captain Humayun Khan was a practising Muslim, he did NOT die for his country.

He died in the service of the United States, much like a soldier who dies in the service of the French Foreign Legion.

Yep, parade this Khan clown out in front of the crowd to gain political points for lyin Hillary who by the way, voted for the Iraq war.

Wanna bet this Khan clown is Sharia compliant? I can guarantee you that copy of the constitution he had was given to him by the Clinton campaign. After he spoke, into the trash it went.

Ofcourse, now, she was commanded to speak and probably told what to say. Written by DNC operative, ofcourse.

Agreed. I’m sorry for the loss of their son fighting for the U.S. But I also will agree to disagree with Muslim apologists. Best to leave it at that.

He could have just said he appreciated the sacrifice of the soldier, but that didn’t change the facts of radical Islamic terrorism and the need to protect ourselves.

We need to point out that the sacrifice of the soldier was NOT for his country, if he was a practising Muslim.

Practising Muslims do NOT believe in the Natural Rights of Man, the very foundation of this country.

This kind of denial is part of what makes the jihadism problem so bad.

Self centered people (even whose sacrifices are for the glory of self — which this is looking more and more like) are going to be a difficult trial. I pray for Donald and his team much insight and patience.

You have a point, it might be more like a selfish act committed in a convenient context.

But facing this would mean having to face a lot of sloppy thinking ourselves.

As every good muslim knows, their death has already been determined by allah and there is nothing they can do to change that.

There is nothing to gain here.

Ten years ago, eight years ago maybe.

This is just a reminder of perpetual wars that we aren't allowed to win and a compromised military with enemies in it's ranks.
