N. Korea sends agents abroad to launch terrorist attacks against S. Koreans

2016/07/26 17:52

SEOUL, July 26 (Yonhap) -- North Korea has sent its agents to China and Southeast Asian countries to launch terrorists attacks against South Koreans in retaliation for what it claims is the kidnapping of 13 North Korean restaurant workers in April, sources familiar with the matter said Tuesday.

The 12 female waitresses and male manager had defected en masse from a North Korean-run restaurant in China to South Korea. Pyongyang claimed that the South forcefully abducted its citizens, an assertion rejected by Seoul.

"North Korean leader Kim Jong-un personally ordered a retaliation against South Koreans (residing in or traveling to those countries) in response to the April abduction," a source with direct knowledge of the matter told Yonhap News Agency. He said the North Korean agents are drawing up specific plans to conduct terrorist attacks on South Koreans to show their loyalty to Kim.

"North Korean agents are known to be also seeking opportunities to approach South Koreans businessmen residing in Southeast Asian countries such as Cambodia and Laos with the aim of bringing them back to the North," the source said.

Pyongyang has allotted individual terror targets to each agent and ordered them to be ready and take immediate action if the order to strike is handed down by the authorities, he said. These targets include diplomatic missions and offices of South Korean federations.

An official at the South Korean government warned against possible terrorist attacks on South Koreans traveling in China and Southeast Asia during the summer holidays in July and August.

Countries that do such things should be rewarded by a visit from a few Tomahawk cruise missiles launched into their capital cities.

I will bet South Korea is not the only target.

No, that would result in the destruction of Seoul. Read the book "The Impossible State" to see why a military victory over North Korea would cost more than it's worth.

Within minutes of North Korea firing artillery into Seoul, I would drop about 50 H-bombs on North Korea, and end their artillery and their government and population.

Has Trump talked about the Korean mess? He probably has and I’ve missed it... Any thoughts on that?
