I know at her site if you post a new story like more then 1 line you are banned or if you criticize any Bush you are banned.
Lucianne is probably a nice lady, but her moderators need to loosen their ties a bit. That said, her software will NEVER compete with Free Republic’s. It’s not even in the same universe.
Let those donations come rolling in.
Where else can clear, untrolled, conservative discussion take place?
The moderators at that site are all snow flakes.
They always use the line that the site is a salon not a saloon. That’s all you need to know about their squishy sensibilities.
And don’t you dare criticize the homosexual lifestyle. That site is a big GOPe friendly website run by mostly neocons.

I know your thoughts are heartfelt, but that Clinton SCOTUS appointment should help all of us get over it and get out there and fight.
I think Cruz blew it the other night. We don’t have to follow his lead. I was an original Cruz supporter, but I am focused purely on what’s at stake.
I love this site and the wonderful people that run it. It’s been my online home for 18 years. It helped me maintain my sanity in those dark years when it seemed the Dems had won for good. I can’t imagine how much it would suck if FR wasn’t here.
So even though I already donated this cycle, I am going to go right now and donate again. I encourage other FReepers that can afford it to do likewise.
It would be an awesome demonstration of perception about what’s at risk if freepers took this over the top quickly this time around AND next.
I’ve been around a while, too, and this site has been my go to place during any political campaign.
The euphoria around here after a win is only matched by the intensity of the discussion and activity leading up to election day.
We have got to donate. All of us. I have updated my donation for inflation each year starting a few years ago.

Trump is the man for his time. He is no conservative, but he is ideally suited to purge the corruption in both parties. He has laid low the Republican party hacks and now it is the time to do the same with the Democrat willing criminal accomplishes. I am on board.
As for FreeRepublic, it is a shadow of its former self. I doubt that it will last for long beyond this election, Too bad, but the owner of this forum can look into his mirror to discover the reason.

Free Republic has been around so long. I’m in my umpteenth year now, and it has cycles and even phases.
We roll with them. Frankly, I was a BushBot and proud of it. I hated Romney and swore off him all the way until Benghazi, when I figured even he couldn’t be that bad. I was anti-Guiliani, but still wish the guy was a conservative, because he’s got so much ability.
I can’t guarantee that Free Republic will go through additional phases in the future, because I don’t know the future. I’ll leave that in the hands of the Almighty, but I do think this forum is blessed....maybe because of it’s religion forum. I don’t know. I do feel God supports this place, and I’d encourage you to continue to bear with the cycles, phases, and interruptions.

You misunderstand my position. I was not an initial supporter of Trump as he is no conservative. But, I am with him now because he is leading a more important effort, purging both parties from the corrupt pack of liars that infest Washington. Most of these self proclaimed conservatives in political office are pure phonies and they have shown their true colors during the primary campaign and at the convention. A pox on them and all of those who support them.
As for this forum, 90% of the contributors either cannot or are too disinterested to form as much as a complete sentence, so this place has become a joke.
