There's plenty covered in the interview that ran on TV, but perhaps the newsiest topic of the day, the DNC turmoil, didn't make it into the broadcast. In a video posted under the banner of 60 Minutes Overtime and touted as an "unaired" clip from the interview, Pelley asked Clinton and Kaine about the leak. Clinton's answers—or, more accurately, her non-answers—on what she knew about DNC interference in the primary were…curious. Among them was Clinton's unwillingness to say any such intervention by the party committee to favor one candidate would be "improper."

Is there some inference here that the MSM might try to avoid reporting on potential chaos or division within the DNC at their convention? I can’t imagine they would treat democrats any differently than they might treat republicans. That would suggest they are bias. They certainly would not want to influence public opinion one way or the other? It could affect voting in November. They must understand this. I’m sure they are fairly covering both conventions with the same vigor, enthusiasm and intent.
60 Minutes sanitized the Clintons for a national audience in 1992 when the Gennifer Flowers story surfaced. A real news organization would have probed and the facts would have ended Bill’s campaign right there, but no, 60 Minutes did a puffball show to protect the “viability” of Bill’s campaign.

The infamous "exploding lamp" episode where during the 60 minutes interview a TV light supposedly exploded frightening Hillary and we were treated to images of the loving couple embracing as Bill comforted Hillary.
She probably figured it was Bosnian Sniper fire...
wow I didn’t know that Harry and Linda were involved with that 60 min. piece!?!? That is so totally corrupt, they were never news people, and they were personal friends of the Clintons.
Of course, she was not under oath during the interview and was probably using the old communist maxim: lying for the good of the party is a good.
