This strikes me as exceedingly improbable.
If he did ‘master-mind’ this coup....it’s pretty screwed up in terms of planning and executing. No coup will ever work, if the President in charge is still free and walking around after the coup is declared.
I’d be wondering the general got faked out by Erdogan during the hiring process, was actually working for Erdogan himself, rather than working to take down Erdogan.

Clinton / Obama and NATO have been trying since 2011 to demolish any Middle East country that stood up to the international bankers and tried to implement gold-backed dinars for all ME-oil purchases.
With Campbell’s connection to the 2$B African CIA slush fund, we can now see where some of that missing Hillary’s 6 Billion dollar State Department money evaporated to.

ISTANBUL—A retired American general on Monday dismissed as “absolutely ridiculous” allegations made by a Turkish newspaper that he orchestrated the country’s botched July 15 military coup.
If Campbell headed up the coup it would have been a success. So you can rule out his participation.
