Pollster John McLaughlin predicts a victory for Donald Trump in the November election, because 70 percent of Americans think the United States is on the wrong track.
Speaking on "The Cats Roundtable" Sunday radio show on AM 970 New York hosted by John Catsimatidis, McLaughlin said that 56 percent of Americans want a change from the policies of President Barack Obama, with only 34 percent wanting a continuation. This helps the non-politician Trump over Democrat Hillary Clinton, who was part of the Obama administration, McLaughlin said.
The majority of Americans want change because they feel insecure about their personal security and their economic security, said McLaughlin, who does polling work for Trump.
He emphasized that "Right now there are more states up for grabs than we have seen in decades and that’s because ... the blue-collar workers now are up for grabs – and Trump has the ability to get them," due largely to voters’ perception that he would more successfully create jobs.
McLaughlin pointed out that in many swing states, Trump’s negatives are going down, while Clinton’s are going up due to a large extent to FBI Director James Comey's recent press conference on her email server. Even though Comey did not recommend an indictment against Clinton, he "laid out a case that really put her character in question," McLaughlin said.

Would also not be surprised to see Trump take NY as well. He need only make some inroads with the black vote. We shall see.
To me, it’s too early. I don’t want to get over confident and write the enemy off. Too many times they manage to win.
I also think there are too many variables. Hillary hasn’t picked a running mate yet, and that might determine how much the “gimme” generation turns out to vote. The debates haven’t happened yet. Then, there’s always the question of her health. I have to wonder how, once we get into the swing of things, she can POSSIBLY keep up with Trump giving two speeches a day all across the country.
If her health doesn’t hold up and she drops out, the democrats needn’t worry - they can just dig up Frank Lautenberg (literally, since he died a few years ago) and prop him up. Half of them would vote for him (after all, they’d consider it discrimination not to vote for someone just because they’re dead), and the other half would look for some transgender dwarf to vote for.
But but but John HOW van THIS be? NBC CBS CNN polls all say everything in Clintonville is just peachy keen?

In the last four elections, the Democrat won NY State by 25%, 18%, 26 % and 28 %.
To win NY, Trump needs a lot more than some inroads into the Black vote.
If he wins NY, he will win 40 states.

The hag is loathe to admit it....Americans have had it with the Clintons: the never-ending scandals, the corruption, the graft, the (gag) Foundation, the phony do-goodism to get-rich-quick, alliances w/ disreputable world leaders, people who despise the US.......
They operate as an influential Clinton shadow government, one that threatens the US government in its sensitive global relationships, and its citizenry.
The Clintons’ associations clearly undermine US ntl security.
It’s really perverse that these onetime government servants can stay in power indefinitely. They are power-mongers; they hijack government affairs for their personal benefit and influence.......all at the expense of the American people.
The Clintons need to be held accountable......they should be stripped of any association with the US government and banned from all activites that impinge on US sovereignty.
In sum, the Clintons are just feckless bottom feeders....con artists and pirates hijacking our tax dollars, and the wealth of others. They are practiced experts at duping people. (hat tip himnohero)

I have increasing doubts that the so-called “give me” generation is going to turn out to vote. For one thing Hillary is not very much liked.
Hillary thought that throwing in with Barack would boost her presidential bona fides. Working in the cabinet of the Worst President Ever isn't going to boost anyone's career.
Trump will also get a boost from his "home town" NYC. That has to give the 'rats an additional headache.
If he takes PA and OH, it’s over in a landslide of epic proportions. I think he’s on track to do it too.
