I guess I’d have to see when and at what point in melee that ‘might’ have happened.
NOT
Hmmn, interesting but sickening thought. Self driving cars have detection software to avoid obstacles like people in their path, to slow or swerve. A Jihadi could flip the programming to do the opposite. Ban self driving vehicles now!
So you're saying the people of Nice would be capable of reacting to the threat better than the people of Dallas?
For what its worth you cannot stop a big rig with anything less than something of equal mass or weight. And terrorists will learn from mistakes, next time they will weld a plate of steel to the drivers door and windows.
And they are probably aware of a certain Clint Eastwood movie of a bus being shot at.
I drive concrete mixers, over 70,000 pounds loaded. Imagine one loaded with 40,000 pounds of the same stuff used in the fed building bomb blast, times 10.
Really? Shoot the driver, shoot one front tire, making it turn, punch a bunch of holes in the radiator to help over heat the engine. Punch out the back tires to create drag. It’ll stop.
I did say no such thing
I only buy ammo that I can bet my life on. I never buy Tula, but I always buy IMI.
Neither did I.
A Motorcyclist tried to stop the truck driver but could not. If he had had a pistol, he might have disabled the driver or flatened a front tire.l
I am told a flatend front tire makes large trucks uncontrolable (unconfirmed from a supposed commercial truck driver).
Another bystander was able to enter the cab and fight with the driver when the truck momentarily stopped at an obstacle. He was driven off by the driver and pistol fire, but he delayed the truck sufficiently to enable the police with guns to come into play.
Good men with Guns stoped the bad man with a truck.
“Kind of like a licensed militia?”
Or like the Armed Israelis you see in Israel.
It dependes. Sometimes armed citizens can make a difference.
I am convinced armed citizens could have changed the dynamic of Orlando dramatically.

“I might add....there is no weapons control law in Germany for any gun manufactured prior to 1871....which means for a muzzle-loader...anyone could have one without the paperwork.”
Not a lot of guns made before 1871 are still in working order. Does the law extend to replicas?
It is probable that some Islamist nutcase in America will try to imitate his French co-religionist.
Uh... you have it BACKWARdS!!!

Well; one can watch MythBusters and see how they rig an RC system to run their vehicles, and the perp doesn't need to be worried about getting killed himself!
Like reply #3?
AMEN!
What’s the cost for 556 stuff?
