In an interview with Spiegle, Donald Trump advisor Mike Flynn explains why the presumptive Republican Party presidential candidate admires authoritarian leaders and considers the US foreign policy of recent years to be a disaster.

Title pretty well sums it up. We are indeed fed up.
Indeed, we are, my friend. We know it when we hear it.
Can’t always do anything about it though.
So mote it be
Agreed. Very good interview with Gen Flynn.
Yes, good article.
Thanks for posting this article.
Wish the General would give that interview in America, maybe on 60 minutes and make their heads spin.
We have to look at the cost of resourcing the US military around the world. How is that cost incurred, and how is that cost paid for? I'll give you an example. The Chinese get over 40 percent of their oil from the Middle East through the Persian Gulf, but have you ever seen a Chinese aircraft carrier sitting inside the Persian Gulf? For at least 40 years, the United States of America has been guaranteeing Chinese energy supplies. Sitting here today, the US provides funds to, honest to God, 99 percent of the countries on the planet. We even give North Korea humanitarian aid. We give them food, and God knows what they do with it. They probably feed it to the crooks in the headquarters. This is not about an antagonistic relationship with Germany or NATO. This is about looking and examining what the needs are going forward for the 21st century and who is going pay for it.
This is a very good interview, and the editor who wrote the sub-heading about Trump liking authoritarian leaders didn't have a clue. "History is not going to be kind to the last 16 years." Yeah, buddy.
Great article and Trump is 100% correct - as usual.
“History is not going to be kind to the last 16 years.”
George W has problem as history unfolds....

However, his buddy-buddying with the Slick and Jeb and the GOPe lately is completely unforgivable to me. His ignoring of Trump and those who put him where he is right now is equally deflating.
How could I have been so wrong?
Don't think you are exceptional that way. For me, I look at the alternatives (Gore, Kerry), and the choice is clear, but my eyes were pretty well opened when GWB nominated Harriet Miers for SCOTUS. I figured it would take 50 years to be able to form a position on whether the Iraq war decision was good for the US (and good for Iraq), but in hindsight, gave too much weight to US commitment to the project. After less than 20 years it appears to have been a disaster, a bad decision.
Not saying it's an acuracte stereotype, but I see GWB as an arrogant frat-boy born with a silver spoon in his mouth. He's as committed to NWO as his daddy was and is.
I refuse to feel bad about voting for W.
Choice was Gore and Kerry.
I think we did the best we could with the cards we were delt.
I don’t know that history will be all that kind to GWB as regards to 911. It happened eight months into his administration. I doubt Trump will have sloppy homeland defense that far into his administration.
German per capita GDP is $47K. US per capita GDP is 56K.
I'd say that in the interest of fairness Germany needs to at least double their defense spending.
BTTT
W had some weaknesses to start with, but I think he went bad in office. When you hold hands with the Saudi scumbags (the elite's preferred version of ISIS) some of their evil leaches into you. It's the exact same reason they want to teach "moderate" Islam to children.
To what end? You said yourself that Germany does not have the global commitments that the U.S. has taken on.
