Agree. It’s that old cliché at work again about an “inch, and they take a mile’. The Constitution defines the areas of responsibilities between the Federal Government, and the States, but that means nothing to a Democrat with an agenda. Over the years with stacked courts, and majority Congressional influence the Left, the Democrats have incrementally screwed up the works to their favor.

No problem with the concept but most of these western lands never belonged to a state so there's nothing to give back.

Should the federal government gift the lands to the state, and if so how should the taxpayers who have always owned the lands feel about that?
