Hillary Clinton Dismisses Babysitting as Not a ‘Real Job’

Hillary Clinton took a shot at babysitting during a campaign rally Thursday in Virginia, dismissing it as not a “real job.”
The presumptive Democratic presidential nominee was discussing the so-called wage gap when she brought up the anecdote of a young woman in Kansas.
“She was really excited … because it was her first real job. I remember those days, when I had my first real job,” Clinton said. “Not just babysitting and things like that, but a real job.”
Nannying, childcare, and babysitting are generally considered legitimate forms of employment.

Now if Trump had said it, they’d be wailing like stuck pigs.
If they are not real jobs maybe they shouldn’t pay taxes on their income.
While I’m sure that Chelsea loves her mother genuinely, I wonder just how much time Hillary spent raising her daughter.
Every time I think I couldn’t detest this woman more, she goes and says something like this. I can’t imagine anyone trusting her with the care of their child.
Based on what people get paid to babysit these days, it comes out to much more than the current min wage. A lot more.
Clinton you two bit whore, tell my oldest that and she will rip your hair out bitch!

LOL, well I’ll give her a pass on this since she obviously was referring to the kind of babysitting teenagers do to make a few extra bucks, and not any kind of adult child-care employment.
Sure, here on a blog it’s fun to do to them what they do to us I suppose ... but out in public we should be the party that sticks to real issues, not nonsense.

I watch my grandson and it is a lot of work! She has never watched a baby or child in her life...wanna bet? If she had, she would know it is a demanding job.

Cut the hag liar some slack! Her “husband” (bent one) has done a lot of “babysitting”. He continues to do so.
I don’t think this remark is a big deal, but it bugs me that a Republican could never get away with it.
Sure, women caring for kids, watching over kids and raising kids is so outmoded and passe in the circles she runs in.
People like H.Clinton are a colossal disgrace.

Clinton probably never parented Chelsea, probably had a nanny.
If you don’t watch a baby it could die from sids.
Babysitters have to watch the kid doesn’t swallow stuff, change crappy diapers, spit up mucus. They have to feed and burp babies.
Hellary sounds like a person who has not even driven a car her adult life.
As a father of 4 I know more about this babysitting thing and its a very essential responsible job.
She baby sat? The spawn of the devil would never baby sit. Take pregnant woman to have baby killed....yes.
Seems to me I read some time ago the Democrats were involved in some situation trying to unionize babysitters via the SEIU, as well jack up the wages of babysitters, and calling it a profession at that time as of course they needed the credibility for their efforts.
Remember.....she doesn’t think mom or dad should take care of babies. Gov should. That is why she doesn’t praise babysitting.
