When the country elected Barack Obama president in 2008, those of us who disagreed with many of his policy ideas were nonetheless consoled by the fact that his victory illustrated that America had moved well beyond institutional racism. Certainly the fact that Obama had succeeded in both a hard-fought Democratic primary and a general election meant that the country was ready to move past the intense focus on race in our national politics. Boy, were we wrong! Rather than seeing his own victory as a significant advance in American social life, Obama and those he appointed to his administration vigorously put forward the idea that America remains a deeply racist country, and they have redefined racism in the broadest terms possible. Its not a coincidence, then, that more than seven years into the administration of the nations first black president, Americans are more deeply divided on race then they have been in decades. Their own president has fostered the divide.

It is his biggest and most thorough success.
The energy he might have spent bringing Black America into the mainstream by encouraging stable marriages and family life was all squandered instead on normalizing and celebrating every imaginable perversion.
A beloved conservative black friend of mine posted this or something like it on his FB page - and boy! Did he take tons of incoming over doing so......
He failed in the same way that the ATF “botched” Fast and Furious, in other words, he completely succeeded.
if you had a plan to jump off the Empire State Building and you died, could you say you failed in your plan..?
could you say you botched your plan?
absolutely not.
first and foremost in the Obama legacy is that he is the Racist Maximus. As leader of the racist administration he succeeded in setting back race relations to the 1950, before the civil Rights act.
The good work of Martin Luther King Jr was obliterated by Obama’s service as national community disorganizer.
Funny, for a man who claimed to be the Messiah, the great Healer, the Nobel Prize Laureate, the man who would be king, the man who promised to bring the nation together, the man who promised the world a kumbaya existence, a man who was the coolest celebrity of all time, failed on all accounts. Regarding race relations, his administration has thrown us all back to 1964. What an idiot and a dangerous fool. The planet is now 1 minute closer (on the doomsday clock) to midnight...
That's who Obama is. He's an egonmaniac without as much intelligence and skills as many others put into leadership roles. It seems that anything that hasn't been 100% his way, throughout life, he's said it's because "he's black". He ignores all the stuff he got for which others were more deserving, because of Affirmative Action.
What happened is that too many blacks have adopted that attitude. Anything they've been given, they deserve. Anything they don't get, they blame race.
(wow...I just typed those thoughts without really thinking them. Gotta' read them now and see if it makes any sense.) <^..^>
As usual, everything Obama gets involved with turns to craaaaap.
He could have spent his energy bringing the country together and yet he spent his time driving a wedge between the races. But this is nothing new. This is exactly what he and the Democrats do. Their MO. It is how they roll.
Obama can posture and eloquently pontificate all the politically correct axioms regarding minorities, gays, Muslims and whatever “oppressed group” he imagines. No doubt he will hear a gratifying echo from the media and core liberals. However the reality is that this country is severely divided by race, class and values. The majority of whites simply wish to be left alone and have nothing more than the most superficial contact that is absolutely necessary or unavoidable with Obama’s favorites. Harsh but true. Also violence, crime and even worse poverty will be the result of these protests, killings and the “Black Lives Matter” agenda. Police will simply stop effective patrolling and policing in these areas. Most of American minority urban areas will come to resemble Chicago.
Not a failure, it’s his legacy
Notice how that is fresh white paper and on top of all other postings. I smell another campus fake-out.
I don’t believe the obumber is the fool that most make him out to be.. On the contrary, I think he is a very cleaver and devious person... I really don’t think he is his own person. That’s for certain!! He is owned and operated by, maybe Soros or Islam or some other entity that we can’t put our finger on...
But there is one thing that is absolute... He IS an enemy of the Constitution of the United States and therefor an enemy of every God fearing American in this nation...
If one takes time to look back over his life, his associations, affiliations and places he has spent his time and money you can come to your own conclusions as to what a quisling this a-hole really is...
And he was elected President of the United States...TWICE.!!
How could such POS reach such high office on this earth..?? Well, I really think he had LOTS of help from the “Dark side”... Don’t laugh.!! Think about it... If you believe in GOD, then you MUST believe in the devil... It just goes without saying....
Remember that TV show, THE BIBLE... When the devil appeared he was a dead ringer for Obama... Lots of folks made a big deal out of it.. A white guy played the part and they said it was just a coincidence...
There is just NO OTHER WAY to explain how this man is where he is today....
I’ll shut up now...
:)
When he addresses us as “Americans of all races and backgrounds...” versus “Americans” he has already slipped to the bottom of the slippery slope.
It all started with his “beer summit”
Nail/Head!! All on purpose. Anyone who still thinks he is incompetent or a failure has not been paying attention. He has succeeded with a complicit congress!
Obunghole has set the country back 60 years.
The course now is bleak at best.
Multiculturalism is an abysmal failure.
his victory illustrated that America had moved well beyond institutional racism.
... is not justified. Obama's electoral victory was more likely because of "institutional racism." Many people voted for Obama because of his claim to being black. That's racisim, straight up.
