Two kindergartners fighting. One student calling another "fat" because the first called him "short." A rough game of tag. And an alleged racist comment about brownies at a third-grade class party that drew national attention.
These were among 22 complaints Collingswood police investigated during the last month of school, when officials in the district of 1,875 students began reporting nearly every incident of student misbehavior to law enforcement as part of a new policy.

One kid is a nitwit, and the world stops.
Even then, a teacher should have been able to address this incident in about two minutes. The only things I saw in the report of offenses that would warrant police intervention was when an eighth grader stabbed somebody in the arm with a pencil and another time when a student wrapped a cord around someone’s neck. Those are serious offense, for which the student should suffer consequences.
Everything else; calling somebody ‘fat’ because they called you some other name, is not worthy of police reporting hours. Kids also learn how to roll with the punches or how to take a joke without immediately dissolving into tears. Face it, part of many teacher jobs is being a babysitter. Does a babysitter call the police everytime Junior throws his rattle at her?
Of course she doesn’t, or she would never get called to work there again.
This is not about respect. The government schools are hard core conditioning students to obey big brother.
If they had any concern for respect, morals, and ethical behavior, let them open up the Bible. That will never happen because the government doesn’t like competition; the students are taught that government is their god.
Hey, it beats covering the news.
Obamas false racism claims are putting cops lives in danger

Zombies are no joke!
I believe Collingswood B of Ed, the mayor, and the Camden County authorities have addressed the issue.
By the way they are all democrats..........
I hope the cops and every other “adult” felt stupid but I doubt that happened at all.
We have descended into insanity.
I was stabbed in the hand with a pencil back in 6th grade. The teacher told the other kid to stop it and that was the end of it. I wasn’t even given a trip to the nurse for a bandaid. I had a spot of pencil lead in my hand for decades. It might still be there but can’t tell if it’s a vein or lead without glasses.
I have read somewhere that Chinese people say that God took white people out of the oven too soon, and black people too late. Chinese were taken out perfectly done.
I taught the life skills kids (spec ed) and worked to get them into the Art class to socialize with regular students. One drew monsters, zombies and bad guys every day. Texas Chainsaw Massacre was his favorite with blood and guts spewing everywhere. No one ever called the cops. Ten years later and I’ve yet to see his name in the police blotter.
Administrators should be arrested and fined for the amount it cost to waste police time and resources for this heavy handed mind control crap. What evil, evil people. They should also be banned from access to children for the rest of their rotten, sordid little Nazi lives.
Lol
In Today’s world, doctors and then lawyers would have been called about that, depending on if the teacher was judged negligent to your injury. My parents would have hit the ceiling, and maybe the teacher too.

Easy way to stop this would be a pretty billboard with their Faces on it and the caption
“I will Terrorize your children if they use words I don’t Like”
Make them FAMOUS!!
Mine tried to dig the point out when I got home that afternoon but weren’t successful. I lived.
Your first TATTOO!
Hey what about all the taunting gingers received a few years ago?
yes it seems when they took the bible out of the classroom, they also took out politeness and kind consideration for other people and true tolerance: the ability to put up with that which irritates you, not acceptance as today’s crowd would have you believe tolerance means.
