With grief gripping the country following a string of caught-on-video killings of black men and the massacre of 5 police officers in Dallas Thursday, thoughts of a race war are raised.
DALLAS—“Local religious leaders ask for unity, prayer,” read the headline at the bottom of the television screen in front of Taira Johnson.
Johnson, a black parole officer in Dallas, desperately wanted the same. She feared something else.
Johnson, 36, believes prayer can heal. But in a restaurant on Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., her mind kept drifting to a thought she never had before.
“It makes you wonder, is there going to be a race war?” she said. “I never thought it would be a possibility. But when you see things like this, you know that it’s very much real. You just never can say.”
A horrific three-incident string of caught-on-video killing, culminating with the massacre of five police officers in Dallas on Thursday night, has plunged much of America into a crisis of race-related apprehension. The country’s eternal wound, never removed from the public consciousness, has been ripped open, right on YouTube, during an already combustible period of heightened political polarization....

Almost every news story describes the shooting of the unarmed man in Baton Rouge and Mn.
It would help ease tensions if the news media would point out in every story that the guy in BR had 19 events on his rap sheet, had a gun hidden in his clothes which would have sent him to prison and they guy in MN was a Crip, had a gun hidden in his clothes and was a suspect in an armed robbery.
Both were career criminals.
During the Comey/FBI hearing four congresspeople intentionally did not question Comey regarding the Clinton email hearing instead this was their concern and should have been thrown out of the room. Next day, twelve officers shot, five dead.
Rep. Lacy Clay (D-Mo): Donald Trump, White Supremacists
Clay questioned Comey on the danger of white supremacist groups, and #whitegenocide appearing on twitter. He asked Comey for his thoughts on Donald Trump re-tweeting tweets by users who follow accounts which mention #whitegenocide. Clay never mentioned how white supremacist groups, Donald Trump, and Hillary Clinton’s emails were related.
Comey calmly reassured Clay that the growth of white supremacist groups was a concern.
Rep. Bonnie Watson Coleman (D-NJ): Police Brutality
Watson Coleman complained to Comey about police brutality. While two tragic incidents occurred recently, they were not the topic of discussion in the hearing. Representative Elijah Cummings echoed her remarks.
Black thugs.
No one cares about blacks being shot by them in our inner cities.
But when a white cop shoots a black thug dead, all hell breaks loose.
Because the news media is/are worse race baiter than Hillery or obummer.
Blood sells news.

Some people were spewing about a RACE WAR as far back as 1968.
No wonder blacks hate whites.
Racial hate and resentment and White Guilt is instilled in children by parents, government schools and the media.
Stop teaching school children that whites are evil racists and that blacks are bumbling idiots who need the democrat party to take care of them.
Stop separating us by color - go back to teaching children that we are all Americans.
Stop referring to blacks and others as African Americans or other hyphenated made up minority labels.
Stop praising single mothers as heroes.
Start stigmatizing black sperm donors who leave their children to be raised by welfare mothers and the government.
Bringing African slaves to these shores will turn out to have been a fatal mistake. Black radicals want reparations for slavery? well, is destroying the country reparations enough?
why is that? The English weren't the only territory holders in The New World. And, Europe got over Germany. The Scots got over England. The Spanish got over the Moors. The Lutherans got over the Catholics. America got over Japan. Why only in America do we keep tearing the scab off to play the victim violin?
If we had deported blacks back to Africa after the Civil War, we might have avoided a century of white guilt.
For which we’re still paying the price.
Folks, this is the outcome of 8 years of race baiting and support by the WH and DOJ.
Let us not be surprised, surprised at all. This is what Hussein promised us in 2008...”to fundamentally transform America” and he has done it, done it well...
