Charles Krauthammer said the conclusion to draw from FBI Director James Comey's press statement on Hillary Clinton's emails was that the former secretary of state is a "non-criminal liar."
He said that Clinton's "lying is obvious when you compare her statements with what Comey said."
Krauthammer also said Comey's logic was "puzzling" and "completely wrong" in making "malicious intent" the standard by which to determine if Clinton committed a crime, instead of "gross negligence."
"Negligence does not require intent. That's the whole point of having it in the statute," he said.
Krauthammer said Comey "spent 14 minutes laying out a case for negligence and then he says you can't prosecute."
He said that Comey's recommendation means Clinton's campaign won't implode, but he predicted that the director's remarks contradicting past Clinton statements will be played in Republican ads.

Prepare to be really disappointed
A lot of people don’t necessarily understand how negligence works, how it does not require intent, and how this statute only requires gross negligence, not intent. He made a good, concise explanation.

Comey needs to resign. He is basically saying that he will not protect our country’s national security or protect us from domestic or foreign terrorists. He has failed his job dutes big time and lost his ability to exercise sound judgment.

The story I heard was that when he was young, in his 20s, he dived head first into shallow water in a concrete swimming pool. He was paralyzed.
He is in a wheelchair. He had a spinal injury due to an auto accident when he was a medical student.
I think I read that when he was much younger he had a diving accident.

That is correct. When Kraut was in medical school he dove into a pool and hit his head on the bottom. He is truly, truly an amazing man for overcoming his handicap.
Comey wanted no part of all those Domino's falling, Constitutional crises and all that blah blah.... What needs to happen when Comey is grilled before Congress....first question. Were emails between President Obama and Canckles found during your investigation? If he claims no, then ask how many emails that Hillary claimed she destroyed as they were about wedding dresses were not recovered? And final question, do you Director Comey find it believable that over a four year period that the President and Secretary of State would never have exchanged email?
