No, Loretta Lynch Was Not 'Ambushed' by Bill Clinton

Sifting through the facts slowly emerging from the tattered veil of secrecy surrounding the tarmac meeting between Loretta Lynch and Bill Clinton, it is likely that the popular narrative that the Attorney General was ambushed is false. In all likelihood, General Lynch had an important agenda that needed to be communicated immediately to Team Hillary.

Last week I wrote a piece reasonably speculating that Lynch’s meeting with Clinton meant that the FBI would shortly refer charges to Justice, and that Lynch met Clinton to break the bad news and reassure him that nothing would come of it under her watch. Since that article was published new information has come to light, but none that would undermine its central premise. That Hillary Clinton was finally interviewed by FBI agents on Saturday strongly suggests that not only was Lynch’s meeting with Clinton prearranged, but reinforces the idea that their discussion improperly focused on the FBI’s investigation of Hillary.

And here I thought they met on lala’s plane. LOL! So, since the intrepid reporter(s) got that part wrong, does that negate the meeting story altogether? If he/she/it got that part wrong, how much else did he/she/it get wrong? Was billy boy actually in Hawaii at the time of the alleged meeting?

If the author is correct about the meeting being prearranged for Lynch to spill the beans to Slick Willy, could it be that the FBI would then go after Lynch? Is that possible?

Very possible and, in fact, quite likely.

I read somewhere that Lynch’s husband was present.

That is what Hillary said when she was interviewed by Chuck Todd on the weekend. Since we know that she can't tell the truth, that means he wasn't there.

You would think there would be some other, more discrete, way for them to communicate.

Nope... that wouldn't have worked. They needed this information to get out that they met. That way there is obvious cover for Lynch to recuse herself.

So surprised that the reporter who got the tip was supposedly told he couldn’t take any pictures by the FBI on the scene.

Exactly... the whole thing was orchestrated by all the parties. As Rush said the other day, "we are being played".

My spouse worked with classified information back in the early 60’s, information that has no doubt long since become obsolete. Yet, to this day, he would not discuss with a soul the information to which he was then privvy.

Maybe we should revitalize the “loose lips sink ships” campaign. Or have we as a people just become so dumb that we don’t understand, or so callous and agenda driven that we don’t care?

Not really. All of the “information” conveyed in this meeting could have been conveyed over a secure telephone line. This meeting was designed to be seen, hence the “leak” to the press that it would take place.

We may never know how this piece of the puzzle fits. It may just be a loud public hint to the “career” prosecutors who may still want a career post Clinton.

Who is to say Lynch didn’t hand Bill a thumb drive with all the information Hillary needed for her interview with the FBI.

We were even to the point of not disclosing/discussing upcoming launch windows for shuttle DOD missions. The dark forces already knew but there was no way I’d tell anyone including Mrs. rktman. No need to know. And it wasn’t like you could keep a shuttle launch “quiet”. LOL!

I once came across linski’s book, ‘Rules for Radicals’ in a bookstore. The dedication page was as far as I could read. I was flabbergasted!

It was dedicated to ‘LUCIFER, THE FIRST RADICAL’.That may explain its popularity with leftists...

Correct. They will lay it off on the assistant AG and the guy in charge of the unit in justice overseeing the investigation. They are both Obama appointees to their current posts, each in for less than two years. The male is described by Joe DiGenova as “very political”, the female is a standard lib busily releasing drug offenders as started by Holder.

This meeting was orchestrated so Lynch could say that she would accept the decision of the FBI and DOJ career personnel. Thus, when the decision comes out not to prosecute Hillary, Lynch can play Pontius Pilate. Clinton and Lynch both knew the reaction to the meeting. It is all a charade to fool the public. The message: The decision not to prosecute was apolitical.

You could be on to something. This meeting is just so foolish on many levels.

Unless she said he was with the two of them, and also had discussion with Billy J, its Clintonian. I was never alone, meaning her husband was somewhere in the area...

If she is not charged, the leaks will end her political career anyway.

Whether release of the raw emails by Wikileaks, or the FBI leaks of what they found in their investigation, I don't understand how she'll be able to spin out of political catastrophe.

And all associated will be carry a lifetime of taint.

It's so much easier and problem free to indict.

And without any penalty...no downside.
