It seems a bit premature to say Costa Rica tourism has taken a hit when the UK hasn't even implemented their exit yet.

People catch connecting flights all the time, and I'm sure London will still be host to many European travelers connecting to other destinations.

Woe is me. Woe is me.

The British decided to regain their sovereignty.

Oh the humanities!

"The people of the United Kingdom voted to leave the European Union, which means that European tourists can no longer easily travel to London to catch a flight to Costa Rica>"

Why do they have to travel to London to go to Costa Rica?
Aren't there any flights that leave directly from
from the many other European airports?

Costa Rica Tourism Might, Someday, Take a Hit from Brexit.

I think the EU will make appropriate allowances for their privileged classes to enjoy themselves.
They always do.

The people of the United Kingdom voted to leave the European Union, which means that European tourists can no longer easily travel to London to catch a flight to Costa Rica.

So why is it that I,a US citizen, can easily travel to Toronto/Montreal/Vancouver to catch a flight to (insert city here)?

And why is it that Canadian citizens can do the same in NY/Chicago/LA etc?

"easily travel to London to catch a flight to Costa Rica.."

If he is talking about different customs regulations, I don't think he understands how it works.

I avoid connecting through Heathrow when I can. Horrible, crowded airport. And the taxes on frequent flier tickets are outrageous. Using AA miles the taxes are at least $100 more than say straight to Paris. That’s on AA flights. On BA flights taxes are $600, making it not even worth it use miles.

It seems that they spoke to the brother of the cabana boy’s hairdresser who knows someone who carries bags at San Jose Airport in Costa Rica. EUers can catch Lufthansa and Iberia flights without having to transfer in England. And what’s the big deal with changing planes, a problem because?

which means that European tourists can no longer easily travel to London to catch a flight to Costa Rica.

Americans have been vacationing in Cuba for the past 30 years or so and for those of us in the north east, Windsor Canada has been the debarkation point..........

Those selfish Britons! How dare they not consider the implications for Costa Rica when fighting for their own sovereignty.

Wow! I guess they don’t have transit halls in England like they do in every other country around the world. Europeans will need visas to change planes in the UK? The UK doesn’t have a visa-free regime with the rest of Europe. I am surprised! /sarc.

The worldwide allies of the Remain movement have a crystal ball that let’s them see the future. Now that Britain is exiting the EU, it will hurt every single country in the world. And the environment. And heralds the return of the Antichrist too.
