FORT WORTH -- Nearly a week after the Orlando terror attack, gun sales have skyrocketed nationwide.
The LGBT self-defense group Pink Pistols, which has a Dallas chapter among its 40 or so nationally, says its membership has nearly doubled since Sunday.
News 8 visited local gun stores to see if the trend has reached North Texas

Then get an AR in an alternate caliber. I’ve kind of been jonesing for one in 300 Blackout with a supressor. A 220 grain 30 caliber bullet traveling just under sonic speeds can do some damage.

You are comparing it to a pistol cartridge. Compare it to a real rifle round, .308, .30-06, 7.62x54R, 8mm

I thought, how cool is that? I can go to WalMart and buy ammo that is banned by the Geneva Convention.
