How about this: Both Santorum and Toomey are worthless turds? Usless as tits on a bull!
I happened to like Santorum as my Senator. He’d be far away from that filibuster that much I know.
I hate to say I am glad, but when he acts like a Democrat as he has done time and time again, we might as well have that female democrat as the Senator....no difference.
Sad. What a turncoat.
Toomey has been a very big disappoinment.
Santorum is past his “sell by” date. There isn’t a place for him in national politics any longer, he frittered it away. Too bad, because we could use the seat, but only with someone who has an idea about why he’s there. We need a Congress full of men and women who have the straightforward attitude and resolve of Trump. Santorum just doesn’t make the cut in my estimation. I am all done with people who exist to tell me what they think I want to hear as opposed to the truth.
Toomey is going to spin this as something else in the end, in fact his latest spin is the notion of some sort of compromise to offer those being denied the right to buy firearms the use of the court system.
At legal expense, no doubt........
The feds can’t be trusted at this point with the accuracy of any ‘no fly’ list they have to begin with.
Toomey is supporting incremental erosion of the Second Amendment again just like he’s done twice before in his first term in the Senate.
Somebody needs to send Toomey a copy of the Bill of Right. Also send someone who can read it to him. Maybe they could also explain to him that there is no difference between an attack on Americans and an attack on the Bill of Rights.

The day he went to bed with Manchan over background checks I had Toss Toomey 2016 bumper stickers made. No one listened. His arse should have been primaried out the door.
Your grandparents were of my parents’ generation - both my parents were life-long Republicans - an aunt and uncle were minor officials in the Montgomery County Penna Republican organization, and my father ran for school board as a Republican in our hometown - he was a teacher back in the day when people went into teaching for the love of it - $2000 a year and all he could earn in menial jobs during the summer were not going to make him rich - he was an early and enthusiastic member of the NEA and a local representative to their national body - I sometimes wonder what he would think and how he would handle what’s going on today - with the teaching profession and his precious NEA as totally-owned subsidiaries of the Democrat party, teachers going on strike for this or that grievance at the drop of a hat, and bureaucrats calling the shots and interfering with their professional functioning more and more - I think he might be heart-broken....
