Hillary Clinton leads Donald Trump by double digits, according to a national Bloomberg Politics poll released Tuesday.
Clinton tops the general election poll against Trump and former New Mexico Gov. Gary Johnson, the Libertarian nominee, with 49 percent support among likely voters. Trump has 37 percent support, and Johnson has 9 percent support, with 4 percent undecided. Just 1 percent of respondents said they wouldnt vote for any of the candidates.
An overwhelming 55 percent of respondents whose first choice isnt Trump said they would never vote for the real estate mogul. Forty-three percent of respondents whose first choice isnt Clinton said they could never support the former secretary of state.
Johnsons never rating hovers around Clintons at 44 percent, but 25 percent said theyre unsure about whether they could ever support the Libertarian candidate. In contrast, just 2 percent were unsure about supporting Clinton, and only 1 percent about backing Trump.
While Clinton has assumed the title of presumptive presidential nominee of the Democratic Party, Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders has vowed to continue his campaign through next months convention in Philadelphia.
Clinton holds a narrow 2-point lead over Sanders among Democrats and independents who were asked which candidate they favor. Eleven percent said neither, and just 1 percent were undecided.
Trump faced intense criticism from Democrats and even fellow Republicans for suggesting that an American judge presiding over class-action lawsuits against Trump University couldnt do his job, given that his parents are from Mexico and Trump has pledged to build a wall on the southern border that Mexico will pay for.

A couple keys I think. I looked over and will link to all the questions.
53 percent approve of Obama vs. 42 disapprove (5 unsure).
49 percent approve vs 47 disapprove of Obama on economy (4 unsure).
Obama has a negative approval on healthcare, but then people approve of the way he is handling relations with foreign countries.
When it comes to enthusiasm, Clinton's numbers are 43% very, 22% fairly, 25% somewhat, and 11% not.
Trump's numbers are 33% very, 24% fairly, 30% somewhat, and 12% not. The numbers will go from bothers a lot, bother a little, bothers not at all, to not sure:
Trump University has been accused in multiple lawsuits of defrauding thousands of students out of millions of dollars, and one of those cases is going to trial this year.
45, 26, 27, 2
Trump has said a federal judge is biased on cases brought against Trump University because the judge has Mexican heritage.
55, 17, 26, 2
Trump hasn't released his tax returns, and if he doesn't release them before the election, he would break with 40 years of precedent.
45, 22, 32, 1
Trump has called women names like pigs and slobs, said Fox News Megyn Kelley was a bimbo and a lightweight, and insulted Carly Fiorinas and Heidi Cruzs appearance.
62, 19, 18, 1
Trump has said that Mexican immigrants are bringing drugs, theyre bringing crime, theyre rapists. He says that he will create a deportation force to remove 11 million undocumented immigrants from the U.S. in two years.
50, 16, 32, 2
Trump proposed a temporary ban on all Muslims entering the United States.
51, 15, 34, 1
The majority are opposed to the Muslim ban and deporting illegals. Granted, you could add up some of the bothered a little bit and not bothered to come close to the total who are very bothered. I attribute some of this to the media constantly going after Trump's "scandals" but not going after Hillary.
Clintons use of a private email server was not allowed, according to the State Department inspector generals report.
45, 25, 29, 1
Clinton has given numerous speeches to Wall Street banks which paid her hundreds of thousands of dollars, so critics say shell do what they say if she becomes president.
50, 23, 26, 1
Clinton is accused of working to undermine the reputations of women who were linked to Bill Clintons infidelity.
34, 22, 42, 2
Clinton has been called a failure as secretary of state because of the Middle East situation and the rise of ISIS.
38, 20, 41, 1
The Clinton Foundation took money from foreign countries while Hillary Clinton was secretary of state, raising questions about special treatment for those countries.
47, 25, 27, 1
Clinton has served in Washington since the 1990s, so critics say she is part of the Washington establishment and not a leader with different ideas and perspectives.
35, 18, 46, 1
First of all, no mention of Benghazi. Second of all, fact that the majority aren't bothered by her record as secretary of state and the fact that she tried to ruin the reputations of the women Bill slept with is astounding.
I do think that if the media covered those things and pounded them in to peoples' heads the way they do with Trump's stuff, it would be a different story.

The sad reality is that people approve of Obama, and she is Obama's female third term.
I think the debates are going to be a big key for Trump as well as flooding the market with ads showing Hillary's negatives that the media won't touch.
What about after Orlando?
the internals of this poll have been thoroughly discredited..yawn
Part of this was taken after Orlando. Trump does beat her on terrorism, but people still pick Hillary.
Trump in a landslide...
Corrected national polling data shows Trump in the lead
I’m worried about the polls right now.
It’s not much consolation for people to say “the polls are always wrong” as happens every four years here. And the polls are always right.
I’m a bit worried. But it’s a long time till November....
Do not trust polls this year.
People are going to say they support Hillary, but in the privacy of the voting booth, go for Trump.
People this year are going to be careful because the radical left is on the warpath right now, but in truth, more folks support Trump.
Sorry, I don’t believe it......if so, we are DOOMED!
God, I hope you’re right, but I just remember around here in 2012 people saying to ignore and not buy the polls. The polls ended up being accurate. That’s why I’m not quick to dismiss the polls.
The Bradley effect going on here?
As long as Hillary is bellow 50% she is in trouble. Obama was polling at 53% in June 2012.
The positive is the primary isn’t over yet. Let them have a few debates. If Trump’s down after that then I’d worry.
Does this factor in 4-5% fraud on Dem side? I claim BS.
I ignore polls at times like this. They can be so easily manipulated and we know the dishonest media is democrats in sheep’s clothing.
Read all about what a joke this deal is.

But why post such garbage here ?
Politico is as deranged far left as Huffington post and Soros Media Matters
Just check out Gallup polls from the 1988 election as an example of how things change. Around this time in ‘88, Dukakis was almost certain to be our next President by a large margin.
I’d certainly want to see Trump with the 11 point lead ... buy don’t sweat these things right now. Enjoy your summer (assuming youre in the northern hemisphere :-)) ... there will be plenty to fret about in the fall!
It’s a Bloomberg poll. I can’t post Bloomberg on FR. I know they are liberal too. I post it because in 2012, anytime a negative poll was posted, we’d have people debunking it. It turned out to be right is all I’m saying.
IMO Trump’s best shot is, upon receiving the nomination at the convention, is to triangulate his campaign and run against the GOPe and the Ds. Become the ultimate outsider, complete with weekly Ron Paul-like money bombs, thus telling the corporate donors to pound sand. If each one of the 13 million ppl who voted for him in the primaries tossed in $100 dollars he’d have well over a $ billion dollars in his campaign coffers.
