A YouTube star was injured at an Orlando concert by a suspect that was found dead, according to police.
Attendees at the city’s Plaza Live first reported a shooter at around 10:30 p.m. on Friday night, when boy band Before You Exit and Christina Grimmie were slated to perform.
Police identified the wounded victim as Grimmie, a 22-year-old singer who finished third on The Voice in 2014.

She grew up listening to contemporary Christian artist Stacie Orrico: “She has a really awesome voice and I was so drawn to it. I think the reason I do have a soul voice is because I grew up listening to her and she was my huge, huge influence. I wanted to sound just like her, I wrote songs that kinda sounded like something she would do.”
Such a shame, very pretty girl who it sounds like had some talent. Sounds serious, I pray she makes a miraculous full recovery.

We lift Christina Grimmie up to You. LORD, restore this vibrant young woman’s life. Heal her wounds, by JESUS’ stripes we were healed.
Draw close to this family, especially Christiana’s brother. Comfort them and give them hope.
We do not know about the person who committed this senseless crime, but he has a family as well. Comfort them also.
May You turn what was intended for evil into good.

It is the days we live in. This used to be the land of the free and the home of the brave.
My wife says it is now the land of the threatened and home of fear. We are being made to believe it is all falling apart.
I have said that the tools of the collective are fear, doubt and greed.
Many things about tomorrow I dont’ seem to understand.

Sadly we never hear from voice contestants ever like American idol that we can all rattle 10 names off easily. She may be one people will know now but for tragic reasons.
She is one who really made it. I think she is pretty well known.
But, yes. Usually they are forgotten.
