My closest friend who is 75 is in serious condition in hospital. He and his wife are Jewish. I have prayed almost every day for decades for them. How I want to see them in heaven! He is a atheist and she is a devote conservative Jew. How I love them, you would too if you knew them. Your prayers are very much appreciated. They have heard the gospel from me and know I pray for them daily.

You’d rather let them spend eternity separated from God (Jesus) than possibly offend them?
Praying that they find Jesus asap! We’re not guaranteed the next hour.

If you have shared the Gospel and he has rejected it all you can do at this point pray and ask others to pray and be there to share again if he should change his mind or have questions.
Praying the Holy Spirit convicts them both, in the Name of Jesus Christ.

I am a Christian, to deny Jesus is the only salvation is to deny him and not be a Christian. So I hold fast to Jesus Christ and his promise of salvation. Acts 4:12 there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” It is not my intention to offend any Jewish person but I will not deny Jesus, please understand the difference.

He is suffering from acute renal failure and kidney cancer.

Thank you for your reply pabianice. I hope my post 29 explains sufficently why I say my friend whom I love needs Jesus. Though we may disagree on the need of Jesus the Messiah for salvation, I respect your right to put forth your religious beliefs as you see fit. May we both end in God’s truth and love.

The most important question we all face is Who is Jesus?
It gets even better, he went home from hospital. Still not well but feeling stronger and tired of hospital. He is a strong willed character.
Prayers lifted for Him, and for You.
Lord, we ask for a little Light for this man to see that it is You who is the Messiah.
May the years of prayer by our brother free_life be answered, as You have said that Your Word will not return to You void, but it will accomplish the thing for which You sent it out to do.
May this man and woman, who are the apple of Your eye, come to a saving knowledge of Jesus.
