My closest friend who is 75 is in serious condition in hospital. He and his wife are Jewish. I have prayed almost every day for decades for them. How I want to see them in heaven! He is a atheist and she is a devote conservative Jew. How I love them, you would too if you knew them. Your prayers are very much appreciated. They have heard the gospel from me and know I pray for them daily.
Both of you are blessed to have such a friendship.
Prayers for salvation for your friends, free_life. In this crisis, may the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob reveal Himself and the Holy Spirit bring conviction.
They have my prayers.
PS..if you seek the JEWISH “Jesus” whose hebrew name is Y’shuah, the one who is true to Torah and who kept HaShem’s holy days and asked us to do the same, the one who was promised to the Jews...maybe then they may hear you.
There is a difference between the Jewish Messiah, and the one whose name authenticities were committed against the Jews and who holds the Greek name. Learn that difference, and then you will come a lot closer to reaching your hebrew friends. Otherwise, leave them be.
God the Father of Mercies, please welcome these gentle hearts into your presence.
+ We ask this in the Name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, our Lord. Amen +
Prayers for your friend and his family.
Prayers for your friend. In Jesus’ name.
I am sorry for them but praying that Jews need to accept Jesus is ignorant and insulting.
I to have a very close friend, like a brother to me, that is a devout atheist. So I know how you feel.
God, Father in Heaven,
I pray for Jesus to come into this mans heart. I pray for him to have the wisdom to see Jesus Christ is the only way to eternal life in your Kingdom. Please melt his heart and lead him to turn to You in critical time. Please grant peace and comfort to his friends and family. Please, if it be Your will, bring healing to this man so he may come to You. Bring those who could minister to him and lead his heart to Jesus.
Amen.

I have someone I have prayed for for years, desperate, I finally said whatever it takes, Lord. He now has cancer but the Lord gave him a vision that changed his life. No amount of words sank into a stubborn heart... but the Lord knows how to reach a lost soul.
Don't Christians believe that accepting Jesus is the one way to eternal life? If so, how can it be ignorant and insulting for a Christian to pray that a friend will accept Christ?
“For by grace you are saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works lest anyone should boast.” (Ephesians 2:8-9)
Praying for God’s saving grace for your friend.
“...Lord gave him a vision that changed his life ...”
Prayer and fasting does work - even if it is at the moment of death a soul can accept Jesus and those left here on earth may never know it happened; so there is always hope.
For those praying at a deathbed; they can request that Our Lady and the saints help in this process to lead even the atheist or hardened sinner to Christ at the moment of death.
Oh Lord, I pray for this Jewish man and his family. Open up his heart to the truth of God’s son, Yeshua, who died on the cross for his sins. Deliver him from the false rabbis who are blind. Nothing is to difficult for you, oh God our redeemer!
Thank you so much for sharing this encouraging word.
I have been praying desperately for someone for 3 years to be saved.
Yes, whatever it takes, Lord, save him.
Jesus said no one can come to Him, unless the Father draws that person to Him. (John 6:44)And that is the work of the Holy Spirit. He is the One who brings people to Christ.
But now I go away to Him who sent Me, and none of you asks Me, Where are You going? But because I have said these things to you, sorrow has filled your heart. Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you. And when He has come, He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: of sin... “ (John 16:5-9)
Prayers for all.
Prayers offered.
Prayers up.
