Donald Trump on Friday vociferously defended his claims that a judge overseeing a lawsuit against Trump University is biased because of his Mexican heritage -- pushing back against criticism that his objections are racist.
Speaking with CNN's Jake Tapper on "The Lead," Trump repeatedly referenced his plans to build a wall between the U.S. and Mexico and renegotiate trade agreements between the two countries.
The presumptive GOP nominee said U.S. District Court Judge Gonzalo Curiel, a federal district judge in the Southern District of California, has made "rulings that people can't even believe."

How do I know? Because he hides from no media. He is not intimidated.
Clinton has not faced a news conference in 6 months. There is so much pent up momentum to bury Hillary with questions about so many of her scandals.
Meanwhile, Trump is doing what he did to the other 16 candidates. He controls the media narrative and he faces his enemies daily and diffuses any media bombs and he keeps redefining Hillary as the sleaze bag criminal that she is.
Hillary hides.
Trump will be president. He hides from no one. No doubt!
MSM hates him but they love the ratings he gets them.
Hillary puts people to sleep.
I’m on record here as saying she’ll win due to demographics and massive vote fraud.
But that scenario is becoming less and less plausible to the fact she’s an appallingly bad candidate.
I wouldn’t be surprised at all if the CW about her is upended in November.

He knew that calling this judge a Mexican would get the Sanders debate story completely off the news cycle.

Not the same as La Raza organization we all know about nor affiliated as far as I can find out.
But judge is a looney leftist and we need to find out if he is politically active on the bench and off, by his rulings and history.Anybody know?
I don’t know why people think that Trump needs the votes of all Hispanics. This all goes back to that 2012 GOP “autopsy” that incorrectly concluded, “It is imperative that the RNC changes how it engages with Hispanic communities to welcome in new members of our party.”
The GOP cannot compromise its principles chasing the illusion of Hispanic votes. Trump knows that there will be plenty of Hispanics attracted by the new jobs that he plans to create. That is the way to approach a proper outreach. The party neither needs nor wants Hispanics who aren’t attracted by a program to improve their economic opportunities.
He is but there are suspected ties of LaRaza Lawyers to LaRaza. There are several people looking into his affiliations. Trust me.
