Hillary Clinton spent yesterday doing damage control after the release of the Inspector General report on her use of a secret e-mail server exposed her continuous stream of lies over the last 15 months on the topic. As part of that effort, Hillary called into Meet the Press Daily, where Chuck Todd took a skeptical view of the spin coming from Team Hillary, as Leah Barkoukis notes at Townhall.
Todd zeroed in on one statement from the IG report in which Hillary refused to use an official State Department e-mail. Until yesterday, Hillary claimed she wanted one system for “convenience,” but an e-mail published by the IG shows she refused on much different grounds. “Let’s get separate address or device but I don’t want any risk of the personal being accessible,” Hillary e-mailed in response to Huma Abedin’s advice to either use a State account or “release your e-mail to the department so you’re not going to spam.”
Well, which was it, Todd asks — convenience or opacity? And of what was Hillary afraid?

Hillary is a professional liar. Today she said on the morning news, the government knew I was using email.
Well of course, but they didn’t know about the server. She thinks these are cute statements that won’t get her tripped up, but they are simply ridiculous, although the media let’s her of the hook.
Hillary has always thought the law was for the “little” people and not for the elites like her.
Oh, she was concerned, alright.
She set up the home brew server to ensure our national secrets would be laying out in the open for her 'donors' to find.
That's what I think. The IG report was much tougher than I expected it to be, given that State itself is at least semi-responsible for what went on on its turf. (Yes, I know the IG himself is independent, but you can see why the IG for State would be inclined to go easy on the department itself.) I was stunned not by what HRC did, but by how blunt the report was at laying it all out there, even including the fact that State underlings were instructed never again to inquire about HRC’s email system. I posit that, at the very least, the IG was told not to pull any punches, and that he was so instructed because the FBI will be issuing its own tough — probably tougher, given it has more ammo - report. And if someone told the IG not to pull any punches, that same person is not going to block the DOJ from indicting HRC if the FBI so recommends. Given that Obama passed in Japan on the opportunity to stick up for HRC at all (when asked at the press conference), I'd say at the very least, that he isn't going to save her if the FBI recommends she be indicted.

Ultimately Scooter Libby, the chief of staff to then-Vice President Dick Cheney, was convicted of perjury, obstruction and lying to the FBI about the leak.... Hillary Clinton risked national security by having classified information available on her home server ripe for the pickings by hackers and agents of foreign governments she is guilty of of espionage... The only way she gets away is if we stop talking about it.

Only a group of mental cases and those with bad intent would run or support such a candidate such as Hillary Clinton.
