Hillary Clinton spent yesterday doing damage control after the release of the Inspector General report on her use of a secret e-mail server exposed her continuous stream of lies over the last 15 months on the topic. As part of that effort, Hillary called into Meet the Press Daily, where Chuck Todd took a skeptical view of the spin coming from Team Hillary, as Leah Barkoukis notes at Townhall.
Todd zeroed in on one statement from the IG report in which Hillary refused to use an official State Department e-mail. Until yesterday, Hillary claimed she wanted one system for “convenience,” but an e-mail published by the IG shows she refused on much different grounds. “Let’s get separate address or device but I don’t want any risk of the personal being accessible,” Hillary e-mailed in response to Huma Abedin’s advice to either use a State account or “release your e-mail to the department so you’re not going to spam.”
Well, which was it, Todd asks — convenience or opacity? And of what was Hillary afraid?

I think the Clintons think this whole thing will just blow over.
And it may, if we don’t see an indictment.
If we don’t see any indictments of anybody here, then this plays into the Clintons saying that this is all political, and the whole investigation was just a security review, not any sort of criminal investigation.
So, we’ll see. if there’s no indictment of Hillary, then this whole issue will fade from the scene.

Did Chucky Todd do a “phone” interview with her or a live in studio interview? Asking because he made suck a big deal (I think along with Mike Wallace) that NO MORE Trump “call in’s”....
F Chuck Todd was viewed to be a sycophant by her, that is why she called. If it has got to the point even the sycophants are beginning to question her, she is finished.
I love the optics of Trump now agreeing to debate Sanders. It totally marginalizes her into the morass of her lies and and criminal conduct.
Sometimes it is not what you do, but when you lie about what you did that causes the most blowback. Could not happen to a better person.
Speculation is there will be a torrent of "leaks" if there is no indictment.
Like the Pentagon Papers on steroids, this could (finally) be the end of the Klinton circus.

Yup. Endless media chants of innocent until proven guilty.
Quite different from the days of W. Back then they just made up a fake but accurate story, repeated it a million times and called for heads to roll. They were quite successfull at it.
Comments I heard from Rudy G. were that the IG report sets up air support for the FBI to proceed with an indictment, because with these findings they would appear incompetent not to do so. As always in government, “CYA” applies in spades.
and what he did not say is that report would not have been issued with that wording had it not been cleared by the administration...Cackles is history.
Everything else has always blown over for the Clinton’s, they have good reason to think that.
I believe there is plenty of evidence to get an indictment for anyone else.
It will be up to AG Lynch if it is just an FBI report detailing “mistakes” or it is referred for prosecution.
Recall back when life was simple and Hillary claimed she didn’t want 2 email addresses because she didn’t want to have to carry 2 smartphones around with her.

Sounds like the MSM is slowly turning on her.
They probably realize she’s a loser and they want a dim candidate that can win. Sanders isn’t the one, so this will wait until after the convention. Hillary will be ‘encouraged’ to step down for the good of the Country.
