Good thing republicans control both houses of congress so these burdensome Obamanomics regulations could be abolished.

“...blanketed the industry with such rigorous standards that no one is going to survive this.”

And that is why the administration is doing it....

I’d actually make this an election issue. This is of the utmost importance to millennials. Moreover, it’s just frigging wrong for the Feds to be doing what they’re doing with this industry. It doesn’t need regulation. Big Tobacco companies certainly want it as well as scum in DC for “revenue”, but the whole damn industry has done just fine w/o those caring souls at the FDA.

What is this “Congress” you speak of??

I know the King had a couple of advisory committees called the House and the Senate, but they only advise and have no authority. so What exactly is this “Congress” you speak of?? Do they have any Power, Authority?? Doesn’t the King have to Appoint them to their jobs first making him still supreme ruler??

Hate to say but the FDA is regulating a drug: nicotine. They’re SUPPOSED to do that!

They regulate nicotine patches and vaping delivers the same drug but just a different way.

Abolish the FDA if it isn’t making people happy, but this thing is in line with how Congress authoirzed them to act.

”… after the FDA passed new regulations this month."

Patriots, the Founding States made the first numbered clauses in the Constitution, Sections 1-3 of Article I, to clarify that all federal legislative powers are vested in the elected members of Congress, not in the executive or judicial branches, especially not in non-elected federal bureaucrats like those running the FDA, IRS and EPA.

By unconstitutionally delegating legislative powers to non-elected bureaucrats, corrupt Congress is wrongly protecting federal legislative powers from the wrath of the voters in blatant defiance of Sections 1-3 mentioned above imo.

Lawmakers are letting non-elected federal officials outside the legislative branch get away with doing their unpopular legislative work for them, probably so that lawakers can keep their voting records clean. By keeping their voting records clean, corrupt lawmakers are arguably able to fool low-information patriots into reelecting them.

Remember in November !

When patriots elect Trump, they need to also elect a new, state sovereignty-respecting Congress that will work within its constitutional Article I, Section 8-limited powers to support Trump’s vision as an expert business person to make America great again.

Note that such a Congress will also probably be willing to fire state sovereignty-ignoring activist justices.

Sounds less like it will “kill the industry” and more like it’s going to put the small players out of business and help the big companies. Most likely big companies that are contributors to key politicians...

First it was the smokers back in the 1970s when they moved them to the back of the plane.......and nobody stood up for them.

Then it became firearms and the firearms industries........How many of those supporters stood behind the smokers while the smokers stood behind the 2nd Amendment supporters.....?

Then they came after....you name it.......

Everybody has their own little niche that they will support without any thought to the bigger picture..........

I'm at the point where I really don't give a damn anymore......

So called "conservatives" haven't done me a damn bit of good over the past 20 years.........

I used vaping to quit smoking. It worked well enough that I was able to quit both habits.

The only companies that can afford these regulations are big tobacco companies, they are late to the vaping party but they are doing it now.

Big Tobacco and Big Government already have the tax avenues in place to tax the vapers at cigarette rates - they miss that revenue. Vaping took away billions of dollars in tax money, they want it back.....enter FDA.

My guess is that Big Tobacco demanded and got a chokehold on the action through regulations they could easily afford but shut out the little guy.

I’d say there needs to be a vape equivalent of roll your own.

“Good thing republicans control both houses “

Unfortunately, they don’t do anything about it. Note the already onerous regs and taxes on tobacco. No regs abolished, nor taxes down, whoever runs the show!

Vape suppliers should just go black-market. Better money there anyway.

Big tobacco regulations via the FDA. The sole intent of this, from the article: “I know a lot of people who would go back to smoking (tobacco)”

Sooner or later someone has got to defy this out of control fedgov. Wiping out an entire industry with regulations formulated by unelected bureaucrats?
