School administrators reprimanded a 13-year-old girl for showing up to school wearing an LGBT-positive T-shirt this week, deeming the message "distracting" and "disruptive." The shirt bore the phrase, "Some people are gay. Get over it!" in rainbow-hued letters, and was worn by Ali Chaney of Copperas Cove, Tex. "It's just a shirt, and it's not hurting anybody," Chaney, who is gay, told KCEN-TV. But the SC Lee Junior High School maintains that the shirt violated the dress code, releasing a statement through its Copperas Cove Independent School District that notes, "Our purpose at CCISD is to educate children, first and foremost. According to CCISD's dress code in the Student Handbook and Code of Conduct, clothing that is disruptive to the learning environment based on reactions by other students is prohibited. The student was offered a school shirt to wear and declined." The district also informed KCEN-TV that, recently, a student was told to change out of a Miley Cyrus "twerk it" shirt "without incident."
Chaney's mother, Cassie Watson, wrote about the situation on Facebook on Monday in a post that has since been shared nearly 1,000 times. "So friends and family…today was a heartbreaking eye opener for my daughter Ali Chaney. She was discriminated against for wearing a T-shirt about people being gay," Watson wrote. What will become those who deceived this poor child if they do not respond to God's love and truth? What will happen to those who enable the LGBT agenda by voting for LGBT supporting politicians? What will happen for those who do not stand for truth in the day of adversity?

It is disruptive. It’s what I call ‘shopping for trouble’.

Seriously, a 13 year old girl already knows she is a carpet muncher....
All of these little shits disrupting public schools ought to be wearing school uniforms in the first place.

My first thought was, this girl is only thirteen and she has already decided she is gay? Sad.
my second thought was, what if her shirt said “some people are straight, get over it”? I bet the school would have done the same thing, only it wouldn’t be called discrimination.
Seems like the shirt is only G-positive, rather than LGBT-positive. What a bigot she is!
What does the father have to say about this matter?
The saddest part of this whole story, is that her own mother wants her to be destroyed from within, and burn in hell for all eternity.

What if there were to be an, ahem, clarification? Saying this means get over being “gay”?
Now, the OTHER folks would be hating it.
The devil wants it. Her mother may not understand.
The average girl matures earlier than the average boy in an emotional sense. In today’s world, where almost every mode of media has been tainted with sexuality or untempered vulgarity, these kids may be of that mindset while still in Middle School (i.e. 5th or 6th grade).
When the acknowledgment of the love of God has vanished, perversions of human romance are what takes its place.
The answer to “gay” is gospel. Jesus pointed out that if the miracles (of salvation) that Israel had seen had occurred in Sodom, it would have repented (from its evil works). Now we have to keep the spiritual cart before the horse here. FIRST the belief (the repentance from not believing). THEN the behavioral consequences (the repentance from not obeying). Mixing these up, as if man could force entry into heaven by pitched efforts to behave well, is the source of no end of grief and confusion.
Just because conservatives get the short of the end of the stick (many times) in these type situations doesn’t mean we should abandon the 1st amendment. The ‘disruptive’ argument is just meant as a way to justify taking away someones rights. It’s not right when it’s done to conservatives and it’s not right in this case.
And of course, her mother... flying the victim flag instead of telling her little angel that the shirt was disruptive, and disruptive clothing is not allowed.
This is not even addressing the issue of how could a parent “support” a 13 year-old being gay. Seems like the LEAST you would do as a parent, would be to help the youngster keep an open mind about her true gender preference, as things can change in the teen years, IMHO.
It could be argued that the message itself was dismissive of dialog, which is counter to the 1st Amendment freedom of speech. It is not as though it said “Some people are gay. Let’s talk.”

Very likely this 13 year old girl was raped by a male relative at an early age which lead her to become a lesbian.
Or she was seduced by an older lesbian neighbor or female relative recently.
Basically, 13 year old adolescents don’t suddenly all-by-themselves decide to become homosexual. An investigator or school psychologist should look into this girls past.
